Other Thoughts: One of the most memorable video games I have played. I didn't want to put it down. I have not played an GTA games before I played RDR. But now that I have played some of GTA4 it is kind of funny to see the similarities between the two. For instance the opening cutscenes in both games are very similar.

Pros: You get to ride horses and shoot people in an enormous and beautifully rendered wild west environment.

Cons: Game freezes randomly at the title screen, during missions, after saving, while simply riding around, etc. Unplayable. Rock* refuses attempt to rectify the problem or even acknowledge it's existence.

Other Thoughts: I am one of many many angry people who have experienced these issues. Just google 'RDR freeze' to see what I mean. I tried the game on 1080i over HDMI and it freezes. I tried it on 720p over RCA with limited display settings and it freezes. I turned off auto-save, deleted save files, reinstalled the game, put the PS3 next to the A/C and it freezes (har har). Other games/DVDs/BDs work fine. I have a PS3 slim 120GB, but these problems have also been reported on the original PS3s as well as on XBox. Online forums regarding the issue seem to dry up around the beginning of 2011, so it is possible that Rock* released a slew of bad discs early on and doesn't want to admit that they are faulty. So beware, you may get a great working copy or you may end up with another fine piece of junk from Rock*.

- So far, good story.
- FAST shipping on Newegg's part. Was my first purchase, will definitely buy more.

Cons: - Few visual hiccups, here and there.

- I haven't experienced it yet, since I've only played twice, but people say it heats up the PS3 quite a bit. I feel you shouldn't be playing for over 3 hours without a break of sorts. Boom.

Pros: Game is ridiculously fun, as expected. I can see myself playing this one for hours.

Other Thoughts: Delivery was unfortunately at the long end of the range (4-7 days via Egg Saver). But it was free and it did arrive within the promised range, so I can't complain too much. Giving this one 5 eggs because Newegg is great as always and the game is amazing. Can't fault them for the always sub-par US Postal Service. Bottom line - if you are okay waiting the 4-7 days, take the free shipping.

Pros: This game is awesome. I don't have much to say about it, but it's one of my favourites.

Cons: I can't accidentally pull a gun on the deputy without everyone making a big deal out of it and shooting me XD

Pros: Great game. Newegg is so fast! Wasn't expecting it for two more days at least.

Other Thoughts: Best Rockstar game yet.

Pros: There are extensive cut-scenes that were masterfully crafted. The game has a lot of free-roam action to keep you busy if you prefer wandering around sometimes instead of doing missions all the time. I like the hunting and gathering aspects and especially enjoy the challenges part of the game. Make sure to get the free downloadable content from PSN before you get going. The voice-overs are very well done and the spanish commentary from the citizens in Mexico are very amusing.

Cons: LOTS of long cut-scenes make for a lot of sitting back and having a snack or jumping up for a break during the many mission-based, sometimes five-minute animated scenes.

Other Thoughts: The gameplay and graphics are reminiscent of the PS3 versions of Grand Theft Auto.

Pros: Awesome graphics, game play is solid, guns sound perfect!

Cons: Game play after a while can be repetitive, once you obtain 100% completion the single player can get boring, online is fun with friends, but can be annoying when in a public room. not everyone is as annoying as pre teens, well worth the time!

Other Thoughts: Not sure about the freezing issues Trans Am man is making reference to, the ONLY issues I have had was 1) on release day some things like horses and my character disappeared, but was soon fixed. 2) The game at one time would hang when going from multi-player to single player, but seems to be fixed as I havent had that issue since mid last month.. Maybe I am lucky.......

Pros: First cut scene was cool

Cons: Game freezes constantly and half the time won't even load. Just google "Red Dead Redemption freezing" Hundreds of people with the same problem on both xbox and ps3. Rockstar still doesn't have a fix...
