2 out of 5 eggsL.A. Noire is a boring game from a company with an amazing track record

Pros: Positive:
1.) The facial recognition technology is amazing. The game relies on you to pick up on facial clues to figure out if you suspect is telling the truth.
2.) The game looks beautiful
3.) The map within the game is big and allows you to freeing go where you want to.

Cons: Negative:
1.) The game is tedious and searching for clues on your suspects faces can be pretty boring.
2.) The game does not have enough to do beyond the main missions.
3.) The game makes you basically run around in circles.

Other Thoughts: First of all L.A. Noire is not a bad game but when their are so many other amazing games out there why buy just an ok game. I will list the positve and negatives of the game in my humble opinion to help you make your own decision.

The above is my 2 cents. Rockstar has tons of other great titles that would be better to spend your hard earned money on, like Red Dead Redemption, GTA 4 or GTA 5.

Thank you for reading my review, if you have any questions feel free to email me, I would be happy to help you with any questions you have.

4 out of 5 eggsEasily one of the "greats"

Pros: This game tops all for originality. The game play itself was extremely easy in my opinion. There are your routine shootouts and fist brawls and the game mechanics that seemingly mirrors Grand Theft Auto, but the main premise of the game is to wake the investigator within yourself. The story line is gold and the main character Cole Phelps is one you really can come to connect with.

Cons: The game is short and very easy - there are times if you fail a action sequence within the game, you can opt to skip it without consequence other than losing your pride as a gamer.

Other Thoughts: The pros absolutely outweigh the cons and I would recommend this game to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggsGame Is Stupid Fresh, Son

Pros: Don't play this game expecting it to be Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption. Those games have nothin' on this little piece of heaven crafted in the angelic ovens at Rockstar Games. Using their experience at creating instant bestsellers, and no doubt some sort of voodoo that rises the game to dizzying heights against its foes, this game takes your expectations, sculpts them into paper cranes, and sets them alight using only the power of the mind - that's how amazing it is.

Cons: Only recommendation is to not buy this game for kids - lil' shorties. It's not a matter of profanity; my son understands to only swear when angry. Not only are there some challenging puzzles I'd think the youngins can't understand with their ill-developed brains, but every five minutes there's dead ladies. My son started crying while playing it until I turned the TV off, saying we'd start again when he became a man and could take stop being a baby. Real G's only.

Other Thoughts: If you want a game that plays like a movie, get this game. If you hate fun, then you should hate yourself instead because this game is mad ballin', yo. So fresh. Believe the hype, as the hype is at the door waiting for cab fare.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game

Pros: Rockstar has done it again! L.A. Noire is yet another surprisingly fresh idea from them, and I say keep 'em coming! After the awesomeness that is Red Dead Redemption, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed L.A. Noire. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I knew I was in the mood for something new, and this game did not disappoint! While it does have some minor issues, they can be easily overlooked by the fun, fresh feel of this game. Kudos to Rockstar for taking another chance in creating a new genre!

Cons: There are some issues, but the overall experience washes them away. Just a tad more character development/backstory inclusion would of been great.

Other Thoughts: Some will not like the ending, but I think it was perfect. Without spoiling too much, the ending was a more gritty, realistic take on a story that is just that - gritty and realistic. If you are looking for a happy ending type closing, you won't find it here.
