Pros: This game is amazing. Even if you didn't play the first one you will love this one. Very easy to get used to and understand. The unlock ables are funny/nice.

Cons: short... Beat it in 2 days :(

Pros: Excellent game. If you played the first one and liked it, get this game. Also this is the same price you pay in the stores and no tax. I personally bought it with no shipping so it was even less.

Pros: Its not on the PS3, so us PS2 lovers can still get our fill of good games. :D

Excellent title. Pick it up.

Cons: Doesn't know if Sony will release any more solid titles like this for the PS2.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully Sony will come through for us... but for me I'm gonna have to shell out the 600 clams for Final Fanrasy 13...

Introduction

Tormented and betrayed by Ares, the Greek god of War, the Spartan, Kratos, has slain the Olympian and become the new wargod in his place but his pain and torment does not end. After his godhood is stripped from him and his army of Spartans is destroyed by Zeus, Kratos vows vengeance and seeks to undo his past by journeying to the Island of Creation where the Fates weave the destiny of god and mortal, alike. Along the way, Kratos must gain the help of the Titans and overcome heroes and monsters from Greek mythology, and even the Olympian gods themselves.

God of War has set the standard for combat play with a combat engine that provides, deep, flexible attacks and graphic displays of bloody action. Combat-ending mini games provide cinematic finishes for defeated enemies. In addition to the twin Blades of Athena chained to his arms, Kratos acquires other weapons that can be constantly upgraded as well as magical powers that let him take on distant or multiple foes. Whether its high above the earth on the back of Pegasus, beneath it with the Titan, Prometheus or in the halls of Olympus itself, no man – or god – will stop Kratos from taking his vengeance.
