Take to the skies to protect your homeland from the invading forces of Chernova. You're at the controls of the most advanced aerial attack craft ever designed and armed with a variety of weapons to blast, fry or pulverize foes in the air or on the ground. Up to 32 players can take part in online battles with up to four local players sharing a PS3 in split-screen mode with drop-in/drop-out game play.

Form clans to compete in online events and competitions. As your character advances, you can unlock squad markings, paint schemes for your aircraft and other accessories. Coordinate your attacks with your comrades via voice chat with the included headset microphone.

Five maps which can be configured in size as well as which mode of play let you capture the flag, duel in an aerial deathmatch or any of the other four game modes. Whether you're racing among the soaring towers of a city, rumbling along the blasted landscape or scorching the earth with your ground attack weapons, it'll pay to be fast on the trigger and constantly checking your six.

I am awful at it, but it seems like I can usually find someone who plays at about my level. Cons: Because I am no good at online games like this, I tend to tire of it quickly. zamafir 9/30/2007 8:00:23 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 1/5	Rating: 5/5Utterly Fantastic Pros: The flight controls (with sixaxis off) are fantastic, the clearly cogent level of development which makes running around as a grunt just as entertaining as barrel rolls from above, the ability to split screen at home on select servers online so you and a friend can play multiplayer, the use of the soaring over california music and clouds at the intro (it's entertaining for a Californian), the balance of the vehicles et-al, the utterly astounding visuals Cons: um... the aircraft take a round or two to become fully comfortable with - and the fact that it's only online. Cons: No single player makes learning the controls and how to fly a little difficult. I'm not a big fan of the chasing camera view, it kinda takes a little out of the gaming experience for me, i like the first person view better Other Thoughts: The game is a lot of fun. i wish the jets were able to attack ground units a little easier but then i guess they could be over powered, just seems like they're kinda useless and their main purpose is just to shoot down other jets which kinda seems pointless to me.
