4 out of 5 eggsgreat concept

Pros: great buy if you talk a lot on play station network. I use it when sending messages to my friends, and whenever I talk on the playstation home application. It is much faster than using the on screen keyboard. setup is simple. just plug it into your usb cord and it automatically syncs in.

Cons: if it isn't calibrated (switch to "mouse" mode, then hold the blue and orange shoulder buttons simultaneously until the lights blink back on), the touch pad feature is not very accurate, and my only other complaints is that when I'm playing casual games, I don't have a lot of finger room for the L1 and R1 shoulder buttons, so it isn't a good idea to play with it attached to the controller. The other thing I don;t like is the lack of a back light, so if you're planning on talking to your friends, make sure you are in a decently lit room, or you won't be able to see the keys that well, but after typing on it for a while, then you'll most likely be able to overcome this issue.

Other Thoughts: it's a great buy, but as I've stated, there isn't a back light, so it may get in the way of chatting in the darker lit rooms. it's great for speeding up conversations. The only thing to take into consideration is if you would want this, or a regular sized keyboard. personally, I'd rather the full blown keyboard, but I ordered this first, so I put it to good use. Battery life I'm not sure about because I've never timed it, but it charges fairly quickly

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: PS3 controller balance isn't altered after attaching. Hooks up with bluetooth very easily for PC. Gets the job done.

Cons: Small key size makes it easy to make mistakes. Also, no light.

5 out of 5 eggsQuestion

Pros: Question is it possible to play any of the games with this keyboard, I know awhile back there were talks of a keyboard and mouse to play games with anyone with knowledge and thanks for your time!!!!

Cons: None ever

Other Thoughts: Gotta luv spending all this money for stuff we don't need...:)

3 out of 5 eggsHmm

Pros: Works

Cons: Very small, have to charge separate from controller, annoying to use, haven't used since the day I opened the box.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy it again. It's not that it's a bad product necessarily, it's just annoying to use.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the most part

Pros: Stays secure in PS3 controller.
Much better then using the PS3 on screen keypad

Cons: Not backlit!
Keys are very small and bunched together, so mistakes are bound to happen. Although once you become used to it, they will be much less frequent.

Other Thoughts: Would love to give this five eggs, but the lack of back lighting prevents me from doing so. Overall, its a decent product and soooo much better then using the standard PS3 virtual keypad.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: This little thing snaps right on to your controller. They desined it in such a way as to stay out of the way. I sucked at writing with the on screen keyboard. This solved that problem.

Cons: Only two gripes I have with the thing. !. The keys are a little small for my large hands but I am getting used to it. @. when you do not type on it for several minutes it hibernates to save battery life. When you go to type again it takes a few seconds to get going.

Other Thoughts: If you have a hard time with the on screen keyboard, or you just want to speed things up, buy this. It is worth every penny.

5 out of 5 eggsconvenient

Pros: -Attaches to any standard PS3 controller easily
-Saves a TON of time when you need to type anything
-doesn't get in the way of the other buttons (like R1 & L1)
-Works great, easy setup.
-Only had to calibrate the touch pad once which is nice but the analog stick on the regular controller works for moving the cursor so not sure it's a needed feature

Cons: -precision of touch pad isn't 100% as the buttons are the touch inputs

Other Thoughts: -battery life seems to be fine
-If you can type on a smart phone you'll be able to type on this without problem

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Light, easy to put on and take off, stays on well, convenient

Cons: Not backlit, expensive

Other Thoughts: Despite what other people think I believe this is a better design than putting the keys on the bottom of the controller when you consider how the PS3 controller is. The keys are a bit small, but luckily I don't have very big fingers. It just takes some getting used to. Overall pretty satisfied.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Design!!

Pros: Great and very comfortable when using for a long period of time. Does not interfere with game play unlike the Xbox 360 version. Buttons are big enough for normal hands. Awesome ergonomics, as you would expect from Sony.

Cons: It costs 45 bucks

Other Thoughts: Definitely better design than the chatpad. Don't need to remove it to play games (If you actually own both you will know what I mean).
