Pata pata pata pon
- Pros: The game patapon has always had a unique appeal for its innovative gameplay and ideas. Patapon 2 is frankly an upgraded version of Patapon 1. Not much has changed, but much is improved. Players can now control difficulty settings, it is much much much easier to get and maintain fevers, patapons now have evolution trees, and the game is probably 3x longer than the first patapon and satisfyingly difficult.
Owners of the previous game rejoice, save for your army, your inventory is transferable.
I gotta say that the story could have been more original, but it as you play, it really does get more and more interesting. Its great enough to make you want to keep playing.
The multilayer component seems interesting, but it is apparently downloadable so players without the game can play with you. Awesome.
- Cons: The evolution tree is an interesting idea, but in all honesty it looks more like a grind than something to really add to the game. I'm just glad I have so many resources from the previous game. In addition, it really makes it harder to get new patapons.
- Other Thoughts: My thumb still hurts and my girl friend plays it more than I :(
Great game!
- Pros: If you liked the first you will like this one also! They also made it easier for casual gamers... but there is now a hard mode! so don't worry.
The patapons are more customizable now and you can load your first game save if you have it... doesn't give much of an advantage unless you have a lot of the rarest items.
More classes, more warrior types, MULTIPLAYER, and many more new features makes this game a must buy PSP game.
- Cons: Glitches involving disappearing text... maybe just me. But its not big deal.
- Other Thoughts: Its a very good game for the psp for 20 dollars!
You should know that it is download only.. if you don't have wireless internet connection on your PSP then don't get this.

- Other Thoughts: I did not know that this was a download game, not a umd game. I got the code and tried to download it, but it doesn't work. I just wasted my 20 dollars! dang it!
