5 out of 5 eggsAwesome headset for PS3 or PC

Pros: Works for PS3 or PC.
Wireless - can go grab a drink with headphones still on!
Battery charge lasts quite a while, and can wear while plugged in and charging.

Cons: Wait for a sale.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: 1.The comfort of this headset is unmatched for me, even compared to say Bose Headphones (being the bar I have set comfort wise for all headphones) don't compare.

2.The sound quality is more than I would expect from a headset and the mic is retractable and clear.

3.The power button is well placed once you find the thing, and the led on the microphone is great to tell the battery life's status, whether it be charging, full or low.

Cons: There are only 3 issues I have with the headset, 2 are extraordinarily minor and 1 is kinda a bigger issue.

1. The Headset just looks odd, like it went for a futuristic sleek look and just ended up making the person look like they have princess Leia's hairstyle. Very minor so not a real issue.

2. Whenever I decide to use the headset there is an order I have to do in order for it to sync up properly. I first have to turn on the headset and THEN plug in the USB jack for it to connect instantly. If I leave the USB in the computer and turn on the power, I have to manually switch it from speakers to headset. Again very minor, more me being lazy than anything.

3. The most major thing I have is that depending on how close you are to your wireless internet receiver or router, the wireless can end up messing with it from time to time. I have had moments where I am using it to talk on Skype while playing a game near my router and it will just completely kill the internet for a good 20 seconds making my game stop as well as the call having to reconnect. I am experimenting with how far away it has to be before it messes with the connection, but again its NOT a MAJOR "Don't buy it " issue.

Other Thoughts: Over all I really love this head set. I got it when it was on sale for a good, 50 bucks and honestly had I know it was of this qualty, id more than likely have payed the full 100 bucks. The only other things i have to say is:

A: The Switcher between voice and sound doesnt work on the PC as much as I hope , or at all really

and B: The socket for the charger of the cable is something I am lucky I had from a PS3 But also seemed to come with my Tablet so while its not a hard plug to find, it is a bit awkward.

All and all Great Headset, Worth taking a look at

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price per performance headset.

Pros: I've had it for almost 3 years now. Very good headset for the money, really good sound quality. Physically adjustable mic. Comfortable. Can be used with both PS3 , PC and even Mac i believe. Great gift for you kid(s) too.

Cons: Is made out of plastic, so it can be creaky but only when taking it on and off. I think I damaged my mic so it has a little bit of fuzzy feedback.
And finding the power button for the first time was tricky lol because it's not really a button.

2 out of 5 eggsJust Okay

Pros: Very Comfy headphones, mic is crisp and clear. Wireless works decent enough. Good customer service through Playstation.

Cons: Worked for about two and a half months flawlessly. Then, one day I plug it in and it will no longer take a charge. Called up playstation, sent it in, two weeks later received a brand new pair. Plugged it in, SAME exact problem except this pair didn't make it through a single day. Very Frustrating.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for your Buck

Pros: • Great 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound
• One button to switch between stereo to surround
• Smooth sliding mic for when you need it
• Easy acces volume and 'voice to game ratio' volume slider
• Lightweight and not clunky or cumbersome
• Plug n' Play style of setup
• Non distracting notifications onscreen when button is pressed or volume is adjusted (Battery life, muted or not, etc)
• You don't necessarily look like an alien with it on
• Charge lasts for hours
• Very clear mic

Cons: • When out of range, headset audio doesn't get fuzzy and fade out, it stops altogether. May be inconvenient to some.
• No major (if ANY) problems with this headset yet!

Other Thoughts: I have been playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist "SvM" Online and it is fantastic with this headset. The difference from standard stereo and 7.1 surround is amazing and really almost gives you the upper hand when sniffing out enemies. Hearing their footsteps running up can also give you enough time to spin around before they can get ahold of you. Completely love this headset for the price.

2 out of 5 eggsAlright

Pros: Sounds good, the mic is very clear and quite comfortable to wear for extended time.

Cons: Likes to cut out and stop working for severall seconds at a time. Battery dies quite fast.

Other Thoughts: The big problem with this mic is how it will stop working, and it does it fairly often. Often enough to drive a person insane.

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome while they lasted

Pros: these things where awesome while they lasted but i will get to that later. i love the fact on how comfortable these where. the surround was sweet as well you can here people coming behind you which is helpful in FPS's.

Cons: i have gone through 2 pairs of these headsets. i originally got them then 6 months later they stopped working didnt turn on didnt charge nothing so i called sony they sent me a new pair. worked great for a year then when dead again. same thing happened wont charge wont turn on nothing. i have a felling it has to do with the battery. if you leave it plugged in to long it will fry the battery and if you constantly use it and cycle the battery it will also go dead.

Other Thoughts: beside it going bad i really liked the headset i am just a little disappointed at the fact that you spend this much money on a headset for it to not last more than a year. check the internet for this problem i am not the only one

5 out of 5 eggsEargasm

Pros: Very good sound. I was very surprised at the sound quality, even for it only being stereo sound. It sounds like surround. Yes, I do have the virtual surround off. I only want to play with these on.

Very comfortable. Can play for hours with little to no discomfort.

It has seperate controls for chat audio, which is nice. Also you can go into the XMB and turn off the mic independantly.

Cons: Not really any. I wish the battery would last all day. I get between 4- 6 hrs of battery life

Other Thoughts: I was on the fence about this for a while. I was worried about the lack of Surround and the rather low price. I do not regret it for a second. I bought these elsewhere but I wanted to share my thoughts and hope it may help whomever may be in the same boat. Good buy!

1 out of 5 eggsOverpriced junk

Pros: They're comfy

Cons: Battery life is absolutely HORRID. 2 Hours average just watching video. Nevermind trying to use the microphone (which is situated so far from your face you practically have to shout to be heard.)

Also, note - NO CHARGING cable is included in the box, so if your buying these just to use them with your PC.. better also buy a charging cable as well. (Typical Sony.)

Other Thoughts: Quite simply NOT worth the ridiculous $99 price tag (+$15 for the charging cable.)

Skip these.
