5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I will say, honestly the storyline wasn't bad it was pretty good, something imaginitive. The graphics are amazing, and show the best on PS3 (unlike xbox), the new feature of gameplay is also excellent which made it a bit of a challenge but if you know what to do it can be a deadly combo against anything you fight. Also a lot of monsters and even bosses have special weaknesses you have to trigger, which can either happen rarely or with the right pattern. The cinematics in this game is incredible, breathtaking to say the least. Overall, not bad.

Cons: This game does lack some Final Fantasy traditions, mainly the game being linear. Also there isn't much to explore til wayyy later in the game, and even then *possible spoiler* there's only three places are to explore. I also sometimes found it difficult to defeat mobs or even bosses that were suppose to be easy and turned out to be ten minute battles just trying to kill them off.

Other Thoughts: I did play this game to its full extent, defeated every secret boss and did every C'ieth mission. Maxed out every character and obtained every ultimate weapon and even got three genji gloves. This didn't take too long, however it was tough. If you're a fan of Final Fantasy it's worth a try, the game may be linear but you can still do plenty after you're done.

1 out of 5 eggsawful awful awful

Pros: nice graphics

Cons: Horrible storyline, uninteresting characters, time consuming manual level up process, insanely difficult, mind numbingly persistent, all around awful. One of the worst games Ive ever played. No cities 25 hours in, no mini games, no side story, no depth to the characters, no story direction. The game is one long boss fight. Ive fought maybe 30+ bosses. On top of that most normal fights feel like boss fights. When you get to open world extremely high level mobs are mixed in with your level. Everything has one shot kill moves/summon more enemies to offset any advantage you may have gotten through hard work. Its awful dont buy it. FF died with ffxi.

Other Thoughts: The story line is terrible. It BEGS you to skip scenes with its lack of direction and voidness of depth. Every fight is a boss fight. I grinded for 4+ hours to find about mid way through the game everything has one shot kill skills to offset people like me who tried to get overly powerful.

The NPC healing is absolutely unbearable. When they should rez someone they heal someone else with one heal. When they should esuna they heal, when they should heal they esuna. Its just unbearable. This game will have you yelling at the TV "WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING COME ON YOU GET ME KILLED CONSTANTLY!!!"

I thought about just selling the game after I quit half way. I instead threw it away. I think it would be immoral to subject someone unknowingly to this game.

Just be forwarned this game is extremely difficult. There is a state where a game can be difficult and fun this game is so insanely past that it is only difficult.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RPG!

Pros: Stunning game. Absolutely beautiful to watch. It's like a movie, except you're killing things. The story and character chemistry is also exceptional. Combat system is good, and the level-up/experience system is unique.

Cons: A little hard. But I've also never been too good at FF games, so it's probably just me. Also, the aforementioned level-up/experience system is a little confusing/annoying.

Other Thoughts: I haven't played many FF games, but to a series newcomer this game seems great to me!

Pros: Great Graphics. Battle system is good.

Cons: THE WORST FF I HAVE EVER PLAYED! after 10 hours of play and I still don't know the story. I give up and put it aside and Imagine I never brought it.
I also dislike the main person was a female....but, it wasn't the reason I stop playing.

Other Thoughts: WOW! Now I know why Square soft ( I mean enix) is dead!

4 out of 5 eggsGood game!

Pros: Good looking game, was amazed with the graphics. Its a long game witch is worth the money when I bought it during black Friday worth $20. Has over 50 hours of game play which is awesome.

Cons: Linear story but still good.
Doesn't make me hamburgers.

Other Thoughts: Waiting for more Final Fantasy games!

2 out of 5 eggsBig letdown

Pros: Great graphics, I like the new battle system

Cons: Very linear story, none of the open play I was expecting from an RPG. Overall the game was just boring (I did finish the game). There were way too many cut scenes, at times I felt more like I was watching a movie than playing a game. About a 1/4 of the way in the game I stated skipping the cut scenes and the game got better but still a disappointment.

5 out of 5 eggsA remarkable edition for the series.

Pros: I've always loved role-playing games, but this one is truly by far the best game ever played. It has a great story, has great gameplay in the graphics are simply awesome. To me, it was like playing through an action movie. It's entirely different that ever played before. I'm truly proud to say that I've played this game and I loved it. The linear gameplay was self-explanatory. Not only benefit the story but it fit the game as well. I love the fact that you get the point a and point B and still tell a story; something that hasn't been done quite some time. The so-called fanboys will tell you that it's not final fantasy, just because it is the seat their interest. I suggest you keep an open mind with this game. Because if you do you will be greatly rewarded with an experience that she will never ever forget.

Cons: Finally cons is the negative press that it was given. And the fan boys who continually bashing it. It is different. Get over it and turn the page. But the only personal cons that I actually have with this game is that it's a bit too fast-paced, but she'll get over it quickly.

Other Thoughts: This game is truly remarkable; despite his flaws which is only one or two don't let the negative press orgies families for you, is a great game that should be played. His experience that should not be overlooked by the self-indulgence of others. I've always said to each his own and to me I do believe that this game is truly worth the money. There are basic: works so you know I'm going to buy this game just because I love the franchise and I love 13. For those who don't more for us, because in my eyes these fan boys are only worth 10% of what final fantasy really is. The rest of us, 90% of us love this game and loves the direction that they're taking. Every time they give us something different; we embrace different it's about time everybody does the same set of clambering out for another final fantasy remake. Get with the times or get left behind because this franchise is one of the chosen few that will stand till the end of time.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: Graphics look ok. Voice over is good.

Cons: The most horrible FF I ever played. Story line is confusing then after more than ten hours of game play, you finally understand what's going on. The story is just ridiculous with characters who make you want to punch them in the noses because of their stupidity. I know the characters supposed to have character and all, but I just can't stand any of the character (except for Fang ... probably because she doesn't speak as much in the game) .

Other Thoughts: FF IX is by far the best.... lol
