Greatest game ever
- Pros: This game is amazing, the story line is farely good, the graphics aren't that good but the multiplayer is intense and besides nothing beats shooting a guy with a rocket launcher and blowing a hole in the wall behind him at the same time
- Cons: like i said the graphics aren't great but it doesn't matter, no melee attacks and no grenades

In Red Faction, players find themselves in the middle of a rebellion on the hostile surface of Mars fighting for their freedom against the evil Ultor Corporation. Geo-Mod technology supports the real time, arbitrary modification of the geometry that makes up the game’s environment. This means that players have the full ability to destroy whatever they want. Introduction
Come to Mars and start a new life. That’s what the recruiting posters claimed. They didn’t say that the new life would be spent trapped in the mines subject to abuse from Ultor Corporation supervisors. The lousy working conditions and cramped quarters are breeding grounds for Revolution. You play the part of Parker who joins the Revolution after seeing a co-worker beaten to death in front of him.
This first person shooter implements the GeoMod engine which allows you to modify your surroundings. Is the door locked and you don’t have a key? Blow up the rock around it. Need a tunnel to get from one place to another, or to use as a sniper’s hole? Make one.
But the game isn’t entirely about you. As you go on your missions you’ll intercept communications meant for others and encounter fights between company soldiers and groups of rebels. Do you pass on the messages, stay and help? It’s all up to you. But, will helping out get you free faster or will it lead to your doom? Take your chances and Viva La Revolucion!
