MX VS ATV Reflex Playstation3 Game THQ

Pros: 9.5 out of 10. You just gotta be patient. To get the best out of it when learning how to play it, you should be applying the gas in spurs instead of putting the medal to the pedal all the time. Also, when learning how to turn, just use the Left stick to begin with until you learn more, and then use the Left one and tap the Right one every once in a while when turning. Later on you'll be able to pin it wide open.

Cons: You gotta dedicate a lot of time to it in order to the results you'd want. Believe me, if you're a true motocross fan, you'll LOVE this video game.

Other Thoughts: Things they should consider adding/modifying. When you hit the throtle it kicks in at 100% right away instead of being pressure sensitive. When you're at the practice track, you should be able to see the rider moving the hands when you accelerate / or use the clutch (this is minor). I could go on with little details, but i don't have the time for it right now.

Pros: One of the best MX games to date once you get the controls down. Graphics are good, but could be better.

Cons: This game has a very big learning curve. If you're patient and take the time to get the controls dialed, you will love this game. The reflex control makes for very realistic feel, but once again, you really need to get used to the controls to achieve this.

Other Thoughts: If you've only played the demo, definitely atleast give this game a rent if you're into MX at all. I played the demo quite a bit, and I absolutely hated it and swore I would never buy the game. My brother convinced me to rent it, and I was very happy I did. The 1 track they give you in the demo is THE worst track in the game (with a stock bike anyway). Once you upgrade the bike and tweak the suspension, the track isnt half bad, but still one of the last one's I'd choose to race on the game.

If you have the patience to get the controls down, this game is definitely worth buying.

- Terrain deformation is very cool

- The tracks aren't as far fetched

Cons: - The controls can be very frustrating at first.

- The lack of free ride areas is disappointing.

- The AI is cheap and will take you out any chance they get. I found it was easier on harder difficulties because they actually try to stay on track and not just ram into you.

Other Thoughts: This isn't a game for casual racing fans. It's difficult, and it will make you mad. Once you get used to it, though, it's not bad. It takes a solid hour before you start getting the hang of the controls. Upgrading your bike/atv makes it much easier. Take the time to find smooth lines and jump combos, especially in supercross. This isn't a game for everyone, mainly motocross fans with lots of patience. It's hard, but racing in real life is much harder. I give it 5 eggs to offset the 1 egg that was left twice by the same person. I'd really give it 4 eggs for fans and 2 eggs for anyone else. There is no excuse for spending $60 on a game you don't like when the demo is available for FREE.

Pros: Looked good on advertising

Cons: Had this game about an hour and put it on craigslist for a swap
