uDraw Gametablet w/uDraw Studio: Instant Artist Playstation3 Game THQ

Pros: I bought this so I could use it on my PC (windows) via a free 3rd party software. You simply take out the USB dongle that's hidden by the battery cover and slap it in a open USB port.

I've tested it in paint and Draw My Thing (pictionary) and it's a lot better then using a mouse.



9.99 + sales tax with free shipping wasn't bad at all.

Cons: It takes 3 double AA's not 2 or 1. It's not as good as say a 100-600 dollar art/drawing tablet.

Other Thoughts: Google PS3 Udraw PC and the creators youtube video should be one of the first hits on youtube. Theres a link for the 3rd part software there and a video showing how smooth it is.


I haven't tried the game yet and likely won't unless there's achievements on it.

Pros: Inexpensive, good build quality, lanyard for included stylus so your 3 year old doesn't lose (or swallow) it.

Cons: Not perfect, but a good design.

Other Thoughts: A lot of fun for my 3 year old. She likes all the included coloring and drawing options. Also there are included art classes that teach you to draw, paint, and color, how many ankle-biters do you know that stay in the lines at preschool?

Pros: Tablet is OK for games, the responsivness of the thing is terribly slow at times. The included game requires some precise tilting of the tablet and can get very frustrating. I have ordered 2 other Udraw games so we'll see how it goes.

Cons: I actually took off a star due to the packaging. I am very particular about packaging of items. The retail box for the Udraw set looked like it had been opened 1,000 times...just in absolute terrible condition. I pulled out the contents. The game was sealed and the tablet had the protective plastic on the screen.

I had thought about returning it but figured I'd try it all out and it has worked fine. This is the first time I've had something from newegg arrive in bad shape.
