Haze Playstation3 Game UBISOFT

Pros: Easy game play, Co-op is enjoyable. This game surprised me with graphics and gameplay. To be honest i could not put it down first time i played it and could turn out to be one of my favorites. slow enough for those who like Socom but fast enough for those who like Modern warfare. love the customized game play.

Cons: way to long of a story line, cannot skip all the fluff and get to the action. That is a huge downfall to this game. do not play this game around children due to the mass amount of profane through the story.

Other Thoughts: plan out an afternoon for the game due to the long drawn out story........very predictable.

Pros: I know there's a long list of cons, but overall, the game is fun. I've had it for over a year and I still play it. In fact, I just got through playing it about 15 minutes before stumbling over it on newegg.

Cons: Game has quite a few bugs. (lagging, and it'll say that you were ran over when the vehicle obviously didn't come close, etc.)

Too much foul language.

Missions aren't that great.

The devs tried too hard to balance the gameplay out on multiplayer. They ended up with many small aggravations like really poor agility on the trooper side and weak equipment on the rebel side.

The devs went bankrupt and got bought out by Crytek. I don't know if Crytek got the rights to this game or not, but so far, there have been no new updates for this game.

Other Thoughts: I REALLY like the people who developed this game. Their TimeSplitters series was so much fun. I hate that Free Radical went bankrupt; I was really looking forward to more Timesplitters games. I think this game paired with the loss of their rights to develop battlefront 3 is what put them under. They were a really good company, just with one bad game that did them in.

Crytek bought them out though. You can see about 40 of their employees on Crytek's site listed under nottingham, England.

- Plot Twist ruined by the back of the box

Pros: 4 player co-op. NECTAR! Customizable control set up. Solid gameplay.

Cons: Horrible voice acting and script. Story is forgettable. Graphics could be better. More guns would have been nice.

Other Thoughts: I think Haze is an underrated game. It's not as bad as most people, who have never even played the game, think. It's a decent FPS. It's no COD4, Halo 3, or Resistance but it's still fun when you have some buddies over.

Pros: After 40% game changes and is much better. If i hadn't read that in previous review this game would have never been completed. Game is quality after the Nectar beginning.

Cons: The game starts out with the player under the influence of Nectar basicaly a drug induced HAZE. In this mode everything is blurry, chaotic, and obnoxious not much fun to play. Close to 1/3 of the way through you get off of nectar and everything clears up, obnoxious characters go away, and game is actually fun to play.

Other Thoughts: Bad marketing idea to create a game that sucks at the beginning and then becomes quality. It is essential to the story but bad design. Maybe they should have included a training or prologue to show the game potential instead of just opening up under the influence of nectar.

Pros: Pros... lets see.. umm.. well. wait for it... The story is okay (keyword being okay) once you get about 40% into the game, and the controls are easy and well thougth out. The 4 player coop is nice, although I only utilized 2 player coop

Cons: The graphics are ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE. I swear they took screen shots of Super Mario Bros. and pasted into the game. The game is by no means a marker for the PS3. The only scenes pleasing to the eye was a beach scene were the water actually looked pretty good, and after I destroyed a helicopter the smoke looked decent as well(You should note that the actual helicopter blew up into 4 big chunks... WOW) The voice acting is sub par, and the game play isn't that good. I will tell you that the story does get better the further you advance into the game, however it is still not that great. One other retarted thing I found was that the game takes a minimum of 5GB (yeah gigs not megs), yet I beat this game in 3 days! what are they using all that space for, the game doesn't cashe, it doesn't have good graphics, and the story is short, What is all that space needed for?

Other Thoughts: If you ask me the game was WAY to hyped up before it came out. To me it wasn't a complete failure, but it was pretty darn close. Don't buy this game, rent it and if you absolutely love then buy.

Pros: The fact that I rented it before deciding to make a purchase. Still a waste of $8 to rent it.

Cons: Some of the cheesiest voice acting since the Sega CD FMV games. If the game attempting to thrive solely off of it's action/control merits I would rate it at about a 3/10. When the horrifically bad single player 'game' is attempted I lower it to 1/10. I am not just over-exaggerating because I am a Halo fanboy or anything, this game is just plain inexcusable.

Other Thoughts: Ubisoft needs to seriously scrutinize a few people's employment status over this one. Especially the people responsible for signing off on the continued funding of this game's development for such a long period. Someone HAD to be able to tell this was a stinker, and if they could not- they need someone who understands the market a little better in that position, not someone who only knows how to look at spreadsheets. This game is a tragedy for the PS3.

Pros: Great fun game. Great online play. Storymode good

Cons: some maps are confusing and you can get lost. NOT HD but thats ok for me at least

Cons: Could not get to load past intro, ubisoft support answer Game try's to update might take hours - real answer HDTV upconverting has to be turned off on PS3. Graphics chaotic, game play chaotic, way to much story telling going on and characters are ridiculus. They tried to copy the beginning of the original Halo exactly and did a hoorible job even with newer technology.

Other Thoughts: Do NOT waste your money, you should be able to pick up for 20$ in a few week for decent online gameplay 5/10 but as for story play I give 2/10 and consider that generous.
