F.E.A.R. 2. Playstation3 Game Warner Bros. Studios

Pros: Excellent graphics and sound, interesting story line, well-done 'creep-out' factor on certain levels. Enough variation to keep it interesting.

Cons: Somewhat repetitive at times in terms of finding your way around levels and in killing certain enemies. Somewhat limited choice of weapons.

Other Thoughts: Compares well to other FPSs I have including MGS4, Resistance 2, Bioshock. Bad PR on this game is very unjustified in my opinion and reviewer who said graphics are bad is not looking at the same game I am (though all my games are upgraded to 1080p by my Onkyo 7.1 sound system receiver and I'm watching on a 1080p plasma).

Pros: New weapons..some scare factors...Thumbs up for trying to combined the story line from FEAR1..but not really.

Cons: Graphics is a let down...just a little better than PS2..don't even come close to PS3 or 360 graphics. Strory mode was no more than 7-8 hrs on hard. AI is dumb down from FEAR 1. Multi online play not so good...due to lots of disconnecting.

Other Thoughts: This game is half as good as the first one. The makers sort of lost their direction where to take the FEAR franchise. It's dissappointing. Anyone who wants to buy this game should get the pc version over consoles version. On consoles it's less accurate to aim and shoot...and can't adjust settings.

Pros: The single player story is about 10 times better than the original FEAR. The gameplay still retains the amazing-ness of FEAR, with a few new toys, such as cooler characters, and down-the-sight aiming.

Cons: Two cons.
1) Massive cliffhanger
2) Levels may seem a little repetitive at times, but not enough to make me upset.

Other Thoughts: Haven't tried multi-player yet.

Pros: The game has amazing graphics and very good screenplay. THe game is intended to make you jump yet if you are a hardcore FEAR player and horror movie watcher you will expect when it's coming so it makes a compelling storyline. The controls are amazing and the HUD on Multi-player is amazing. If you have a decent connection, online play is pretty sweet. You are able to make profile of weaponry to use so it's optimal to your style.

Cons: The Motion Blur is a little too intense and can mess you over at times. That's pretty much all I had against the game but still FEAR 2 is great.

Pros: The single player is very good. It has a lot of moments similar to the first one intended to make you jump. Adding the mechs and turret play changes it up as well.

Cons: The multiplayer is barely playable at best. Being a diehard FEAR MP player I am extremely disappointed at how poor the multiplayer is on this game. It's P2P and is full of disconnects - at least half of the time; some which will completely freeze my PS3. The single player is pretty short too - 7-8 hours on hard.

Other Thoughts: This is a game which had a lot of potential but came across as a non-finished product to me. I wished I would have just rented it. The single player, while short is pretty good though.
