Works fine so far
Pros: PS3 recognizes the equipment fine. PS3 needs more USB plugs, 2 is just not cutting it. So this helps add more. Simple as that and it has a card reader, have not used that yet can't comment.
Cons: It snaps off easily. You have to hold it in while pulling out USB cables otherwise you will snap it out of the PS3. Slight difficulty getting it on, but start from the right and go to the left it gets easier.
Other Thoughts: Good concept with this. If it had a fan, it would be even better.

Pros: This unit fits flush and looks great on the slim. There is 1 USB port that is used and the other side of the media bar clips onto the lip of the slim to make sure the unit does not sag or break off.
Cons: The plastic pieces where the L.E.D.'s from the slim illuminate through are slightly opaque. So there isn't as much light flashing through. Not too big of a deal. A bit of rubbing with an emery board fixes that.
Other Thoughts: Since the media bar only used 1 USB port, the other port is free to have a charger, or in my case, an a-power wireless receiver. It fits perfectly and seems balanced when looking at the PS3
