There is 1 USB port that is used and the other side of the media bar clips onto the lip of the slim to make sure the unit does not sag or break off. Cons: The plastic pieces where the L.E.D.'s from the slim illuminate through are slightly opaque. So there isn't as much light flashing through. Not too big of a deal. A bit of rubbing with an emery board fixes that. Other Thoughts: Since the media bar only used 1 USB port, the other port is free to have a charger, or in my case, an a-power wireless receiver.
