The Harmony 900 from Logitech is a marvel of modern remote control.

It has a recharging cradle, so forget about battery replacement for awhile. It's programmable, so when you want to listen to something, you don't have to remember to turn on each component first. It can control up to fifteen separate devices. It has a database of over 225,000 devices; chances are good your device is in there. LCD screen and a Help button mean you're never lost for long.

Good button placement Cons: No Sequences - I used them on 1 previous harmony remote and it is missed on this model. If upgrading from a harmony remote with a number less than 900 you must create a new account and start from scratch. Other Thoughts: Logitech does not recognize these refurbs as "official". Recently acquired item, Speakercraft Soundbar, whose remote signal was being blocked due to can ER configuration. The 900 has fixed this issue. Cons: There does seem to be a small lag in response compared to th Harmony One. The setup is more of a challenge but once done it works very well. Did you find this review helpful? I have my fingers crossed Other Thoughts: It definitely was a retailed open box but all parts within looked like new and everything works like a charm so far. I would like to add that you need to use the Harmony Remote software to set this unit up. It is not a plug and play like the previous review seemed to state. Yes it is a little tricky using the software so a little patients goes a long way for a really killer deal. I hope this thing works as I am ready to order another one! Pros: This product works as designed, and all components are included. The RF extender is a very nice feature. Cons: This is clearly not a refurbished the product. All the parts were basically thrown back in the box, and nothing was even cleaned prior to shipping.
