Watching any device such as Blu Ray or Roku becomes just as complicated, or more complicated, as using multiple remotes

Other Thoughts: This remote has such limited functionality you might be better with several separate remotes. It does not function like other Harmony remotes I've owned, not even a model I have which was their bottom of the line 12 years ago.

I should have read the one star reviews before purchasing it. While you can program it to control up to 8 devices you can not program it for more than one activity. The activity most people will program is watching TV and it will do that OK as long as you don't need complicated options. So if you've programmed the one activity to watch TV then you can't program it to watch a DVD (and/or Blu-Ray/and or Roku, etc). Oh it will control the DVD, but there is no easy way to switch the TV to the input you need for your DVD or turn the DVD on automatically when you hit the DVD button. Same with other devices. So you end up having to go through a very confusing sequence of steps or, easier yet, keep multiple remotes on hand.

The other Harmony remotes I've had did multiple 'ACTIVITIES', in addition to watching TV. So if you wanted to watch, for example, the DVD all you had to do was hit the Watch DVD button and it would turn on the DVD, and switch the TV (or receiver) to the DVD input settings automatically and turn off any devices that were on for the last activity that are no longer needed. You could also program any button within that activity to issue any command for any other device (such as changing the input on the TV when the DVD is selected). Not so with this model.

I'd recommend either getting a Harmony that can do many different ACTIVITIES or just sticking with your mess of old seperate remotes.

Pros: Easy to program online just select your equipment your using and how you want to use it. Program all the buttons and if you want. Also great options for the easy "watch tv" button even if you have an amp. Has a big selection of equipment online. Simple to use even my wife now enjoys watching tv now.

Cons: No fancy screen, but honestly it's not needed. In fact the simple aspect of this remote is a big plus.

Pros: Easy setup

Cons: Signal strength is inadequate; av functions are limited - keep your AV remote close or be prepared to use the receiver local controls.

Pros: Has almost all the info online to automatically program the remote for four devices. only had to manually teach the remote one button to access the cable box DVR function.
The nice thing is once you do it your settings are stored on line for backup. This was handy since I wore out the previous model 300 after three years of channel surfing.

Cons: Not lighted

Other Thoughts: 2nd one I like the programming download via a computer micro usb cord
