5 out of 5 eggsGET IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: controls every function of every remote I have. Has a learning mode that you can put your old remote and this one on a table , head to head, and teach your new remote commands from your old remote by just the press of a few buttons,,,,example: this remote doesn't have a specific button for "open" for the dvd player,,,,,so,,I "taught" it to open the dvd tray when I push numeral 4,,,,,,,same with Netflix on the dvd,,,,,I taught the remote to start it when I push the numeral 2. Got rid of 4 remotes !!!!

Cons: a bit confusing at first, but the man is great, giving you up to 4 options to program.

Other Thoughts: you cannot beat this for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsViewsonic TV N3760w

Pros: Well made, simple to use, nothing flashy.

Cons: Dont know if its just me or what, but my TV is a Viewsonic N3760w and all the remote can control is :Power, Volume,Channels. Literally just those 3 functions.

Other Thoughts: Am I the only one that is having this issue? Did i get a defective product? Or is that all the remote was meant to do? or is that all the TV will allow from universal remotes? I shoulda just bought the remote that was meant for the TV.

5 out of 5 eggsGood alternative to Sony

Pros: Comfortable, easy to program, has a code for Media Center remotes (001)

Cons: Button layout is somewhat different than we used to.

Other Thoughts: I have have been using Sony remotes for more than 10 years (RM -VL900, VL710, VL610) When looking to buy another Sony remote I came across URC remotes and decided to buy based on positive reviews. I recommend this if you used Sony remotes in the past.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Remote

Pros: I like the look and feel of this remote.
I thought it was very easy to set up, and the book that came with it was easy to understand.
Good Price.

Cons: Nothing Bad to say.

Other Thoughts: I used this remote because my DVR remote from the phone company wouldn't work with my new flat TV, and the TV remote of the same brand as my soundbar didn't work together. After doing some research I decided to try the URC A6 remote. I got everything in the living room working together with this remote. Setting it up was easy after reading the very well written booklet that came with the remote. I had to use the learn feature for the SoundBar remote, but everything else had a code. I'm now using one remote for the UniverseDVR;),the BlueRay Player, the TV,and the soundbar.

5 out of 5 eggsWhoa!!

Pros: Auto-found the code for a Panasonic PT-950 (home theater system in a box) in less than 2 minutes!! I have tried several more expensive remotes that couldn't find this thing to save their lives!

Cons: Little complicated to program at first...could have been the beer interfering though.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for the price

Pros: Programmable. Has a lot of built-in remote codes. Buttons are big, very responsive, easy to use in the dark after you have the positions memorized. Batteries last forever. Great remote for the price.

Cons: Only the component buttons light up. Might be nice if they all did. Manufacturer's website is lame. I don't even think they acknowledge this remote anymore, so don't loose the manual!

5 out of 5 eggsBuy this one

Pros: Have paid hundreds of $$$ of remotes and been disappointed by comparison.

Cons: No LCD screen, doesn't talk to you, cannot control space stations.

Other Thoughts: Awesome remote if it were $80. What it cannot do out of the box it can learn. Most remotes mess up out of the box, learning, or both. Def a keeper.
