Not worth it.
Pros: It has buttons.
Cons: Your lucky if those buttons work. LCD is washed out and hard to read.
Other Thoughts: Remote "Activities" once setup to turn on the telivision and cable box not all of the buttons would work (two clicks to turn them on). I would have to click the back button twice then click the devices option then the cable box option. So for a "smart" remote it would take 6 clicks to be up and running where as a "dumb" remote would only have taken at most 3. I tried to use the "repair button" solution for the missing buttons but it would still not work. And whats up with that power button? You have to click the power button to get to the menu to power off your devices.

Dissapointed and impressed
Pros: Easy set-up, tons of codes, learning, solid feel.
Cons: Heavy, slick, awkward grip, lcd layout.
Other Thoughts: I have kinda mixed feelings on the Philips Prestigo SRU6008. The program needed to get going was very easy to use, made the remote a breeze to program, and was actually kinda fun to set up. You have the option to add/edit new buttons to the lcd, and you have the option to change the hardware buttons to act as ever you wish. You can also program sequences of presses into the activities feature. All in all, very impressed with how easy it was to set up.
