This small business surveillance system protects your employees and stock with ease! Each wireless camera has its own IP address to easily connect to a wired or wireless network and instantly provide surveillance of important locations such as office entrances, warehouse floors, exterior walkways, and parking lots, 24 hours a day using a standard web browser. Each camera supports UPnP for simple setup and Dynamic DNS (DDNS) to create an easy-to-remember URL name for easy access using a web browser.

Create a complete wireless (802.11 b/g) surveillance system by pairing the camera’s included IPView Pro software with a high performance CPU: monitor up to 16 cameras at the same time. The cameras support high quality motion JPEG (MJPEG) and MPEG-4 video recording at up to 30 frames per second, which can be sent to a PC or FTP server for storage. IR lens, 4X Digital Zoom, CCD image sensor, and DC-iris control can capture images in all conditions, from brightly-lit to pitch black locations.

Three adjustable motion detection windows can be set to capture just-in-time snapshot images. Cameras can also trigger an alarm (via I/O port) or send an email notification. The integrated microphone offers a more complete surveillance experience for live audio monitoring, as well. Take care of the people and places important to you!

  • newegg Easy Access via Wi-Fi With support for UPnP and DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System), easily set up and access the TRENDnet TV-IP301W via Wi-Fi to any 802.11b/g compliant wireless network or PC. 4 out of 5 eggsGreat Day/Night Cam

Pros: Stable - I have had this monitoring my storage (shared apt. bldg. storage) for 2 years. I have never re-booted it and its is on 24/7! This storage gets between 90-130 degrees in the summer and gets below 30 in the winter, and this thing has never even blinked and eye. Mo-cap works good and new firmware has further stabilized the product.

Cons: Email alert functionality on this device is in question. I am a network engineer with a good grasp on networks and I have never gotten this to work.

Other Thoughts: Free IPView software is good, but not great. . . but hey its free!

1 out of 5 eggsOnly worked for a few minutes

Pros: Hard to tell. Didn't last long enough to make a proper evaluation. Was reasonably easy to set up, seemed to perform as expected (while it was working at all).

Cons: Died after less than an hour of use. Ran very very hot (painful to touch).

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUT THIS PRODUCT

Pros: There are really none compared to other products

Cons: I receive that camera and though it functioned in JPEG mode it did not in MPEG4 mode. Calling TrendNet put me to a level one tech who could not help and new little about the product, i had to email level 2 rep. After 24 hours I called back and they had no support people to help me. Called back and got another person that said they could not help but help would call back in 24 hours. 24 hours later I am calling again but there is nobody to help me with my issue and no reps avaialble. I am sending my unit back.

On the technical side, there is no way to put the image in a web page and it must be ran manually so this camera cannot be used in an intanet type situation.

The image quality in JPEG mode is only average and the night vision stuff is very marginal.

thanks ross

Other Thoughts: unit gets quite warm but this does not seem to effect perforamnce. The comment above that support is non-existant is close to correct, they are rude too.

3 out of 5 eggsOverpriced - No support

Pros: Decent quality picture once the manual focus is completed. Good mounting options. Solid construction.

Cons: Tech support from the manufacturer is close to non-existant. I could not get the email feature to work. I had no trouble with that feature on a precious webcam that broke. The software is a bit dated. Must direct connect the camera to set it up on the network. Included manual is a quick setup only. Full mannual is available on the web but still does not explain various settings.

Other Thoughts: Users must have an account (you can share guest account/password).
