4 out of 5 eggsGreat Video, NO audio

Pros: This camera's video is great. The Android app works nicely, but the data entry is rough for it, but workable. Overall for the price the camera, this is a bargain.

Cons: Does not support Android Ice Cream Sandwich (can't get app to connect on wife's Nexas phone). Works great on my Droid Razr Maxx though (which is still gingerbread).
NO AUDIO (sorry, if I had read the description properly I'd have known that). But seems silly to me to make a webcam with no audio. Honestly though, if all you need is a simple security camera, this thing is cheap, reliable, and the picture is great.
Low light its weak, but it's because it's a color camera. Again for the price, a little light goes a LONG way.

Other Thoughts: This device doesn't CLAIM to have audio, so that is MY bad, not the companies. However it SHOULD be noted.
Android support is for 95% of all android devices, so that is GOOD.
Setup is flawless, and the mount for it is easy to use, and gives 270 degrees of motion once installed. I am very happy with the quality and compactness of this camera.

2 out of 5 eggsDo not use in low light

Pros: Web interface simple and intuitive, cheap price

Cons: very poor in low light

Other Thoughts: There isa reason this camera is inexpensive. I have an old IP cam that can't even run the embedded webserver anymore. It is pointed at the street at the illumination from the streelamp is enough to clearly see pedestrians. With this camera you can almost tell where the road surface is reflecting the light and that's it, you would not even know if there was someone there. I will try it later pointing onto the front porch where a sensors turns on a bright porch light when someone approaches and hope for the best. Do not think about using this in low light settings where other cameras may function adequately. Do not pay more than $25.00 for it.

3 out of 5 eggsOk when on sale

Pros: Seems to work ok. Purchased when on sale. OK camera when the price is right. Not great, but not bad.

Cons: Video freezes with firmware 1.1.0 build 66. Need to stick with factory firmware. See comments below. Doesn't work in dim light and doesn't work in bright, outdoor light. No POE, so you need to pur two cables to camera.

Other Thoughts: Cameras came with firmware 1.1.0 build 60. Updated to firmware 1.1.0 build 66 and the video would stop working after 5-10 minutes. Downgraded the firmware back to 1.1.0 build 60 and the video is stable again except the date resets to 2007 everytime you reboot the camera.

2 out of 5 eggsDoes not work with iPhone

Pros: Good price, when on sale. Video quality is so so.

Cons: Per Trendnet tech support, it does not work with iPhone, either using Safari browser or other apps.

Other Thoughts: Get something else if you want to watch on iPhone.

2 out of 5 eggsUpdate to old review - not recommended

Pros: Price when I bought it as shell shocker
Good recording quality for outdoor
Pretty decent web interface when it works.

Cons: Indoor quality is not good
Motion detection does not function properly
Buggy firmware and issues with web interface

Other Thoughts: When I first bought this, it worked okay. I left the event trigger set at default, set up email notification, and then turned on motion detection. Worked fine for a few months and then motion detection stopped working, I went in and reset motion detection and set the sensitivity half ways. Dang thing sent over 500 emails in one minute and my DSL provider suspended my account. I can point this at a blank wall and the motion detection fires off every few seconds. I set detection interval to 12 seconds and it ignores it and just continues to send emails. The web interface has slowed to a crawl -- sort of like a computer infected with trojans an spyware. Would not recommend unless you are going to use just for live recording. Definately watch the email or it could get you in trouble with DSL or cable provider.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Camera When You Catch It On Sale

Pros: Got 2 for $50 each with promo code. Good frame rate at max 640x480 resolution. Works with Linux Zoneminder. You can program the power LED to be off so that the camera can be somewhat inconspicuous.

Cons: Picture is very dark in low light conditions compared to the Panasonic BL-C1A PetCam. Default IP address is 192.168.10.30 making it a drag (unless your router's IP address is 192.168.10.1) when you have to reset the camera, turn off DHCP and set its IP address again. Camera seems to freeze or reset when there's network collisions so don't plan on hooking up multiple cameras on an old hub. Don't bother with the setup software. Launch a browser and go straight to http://192.168.10.30 to setup the camera.

Other Thoughts: Decent camera for a low-cost surveillance system
Ubuntu Server 10.04
ZoneMinder surveillance software
2 Panasonic BL-C1A PetCams
2 TrendNet TV-IP110 IP Cameras
Combo AMD Sempron 140 2.7GHz / BIOSTAR MCP6P M/B
2GB Kingston RAM
Old Netgear WGT624 Router cascaded with 2 old Linksys 4-port switches
Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC 430W Power Supply
Reused 10+ year old ATX case
Reused 10+ year old PCI SCSI card and hard drive

2 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: Works with zoneminder software. Price was great when on sale.

Cons: The email system was complicated to set up with gmail. Would probrably not buy again. Time settings keep going back to 2007 for some reason. Quality is good but not great.

1 out of 5 eggsNot recomemded

Pros: Low power consumption, NEWEGG great service

Cons: 1 Priced to high for what it's worth.
2 Not compatible with all Trend Net viewers
3 Lasted only 91 days
4 Worked only in UPD mode
5 Very poor image in low light
6 Slow movement detection, camera starts capture after the trigger has left the field of view.

Other Thoughts: I have 5 TRENDnet TV-IP100 great IP cameras was hoping this one was to but no dice even at the current lower price I can not recommend this camera. Should have sent this one back before the 30 day limit.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not recommend.

Pros: Great picture, wireless works well.

Cons: I have the same problem that others have had. The camera will periodically lock up and I must reset the power to the camera to get it to function again. This is a deal breaker for me as the camera is in a very hard to access area.
