Cons: It is not night vision, only "nightmode" which just ups the saturation, brightness and contrast to allow it to see better at night. Does not show the typical green glows of night vision. Does not work at all in extreme low light.
Other Thoughts: It works great in places that have security night lights and is supurbe during the day. Recording is not bad, I recorded 10 hours straight and didn't use more than 2 gigs of space and I bought a Terrabite for security footage storing.

Pros: Inexpensive but not sure that's a positive if the thing doesn't work.
Cons: The first one I bought had pixel problems---lots of blocks of color frozen on the image. Couldn't use it at all----it worked fine for a couple of weeks and then that happened. I sent that back for a replacement. The second one worked fine for a month and then it started caching images and would stay stuck on that image until I rebooted (which you can do remotely) but even then, it often wouldn't clear that stuck image and I'd have to reboot several times to get it to work again. I wouldn't buy another.

Pros: It does what it is supposed to and does it well, you get what you paid for and then some. Built in web software is decent and the camera has a decent range of motion.
I used two of these cameras for my pet who I had to monitor most of the day due to being out of surgery. I was able to track him around the room the entire day just in case he got into trouble.
Cons: Just a few, here is the list: 1. Low light situations will cause the colors to fade 2. The motion detection takes a bit of work to get working properly. 3. The picture is not the clearest in the world, my pet was always grainy on both cameras so I know it was not a hardware issue. 4. Not stealthy.. when you move the camera the motors are loud and it is easily heard. If you are going to be tracking employees or use it in a public place every one around it is going to know it is being operated at the time once its moved. 5. Cannot set a set pattern for it to move back and forth over a period of time. Manufacturer said it would burn out the motors by doing so.
Other Thoughts: I would pick up another one or two of these units but it is good to know what the limitation of said cameras are.
