4 out of 5 eggsCan't get any easier...

Pros: Works as described. Easy to connect. Did not have to configure and worked right out of the box. Fast and reliable.... Connected everything together and tested connectivity as is out of the box and everything worked immediately without configuring. Your experience may vary but with an average home TV cable topology I don't think you'll have any problems.

Cons: Only 10/100 connectivity speeds. Was unsure of initial layout and connection with coaxial. Each box has 2 coax connections, one labeled IN/OUT and the other just OUT. With a cable company DVR/Set Top Box, and a Motorola SurfBoard Cable modem it was unclear if Out connection was one way or not. Turns out both connections are 2 way.

Other Thoughts: Really wish they made a 10/100/1000 device.

I may buy another set to wire up 2 more rooms. Old San Francisco homes have some difficult to work with construction that interferes with wireless signals no matter how close TX/RX devices are to each other. This makes wiring the house with existing coax a great, secure, and reliable option. I decided to go with MoCA instead of power lines from reviews of power line devices disconnecting or not as fast as described. This device does not seem to have any issues.

Only reason for not getting 5 egg rating is not a 10/100/1000 device...
