Pros: Easy to set up
Works as expected
Power monitor works great, both instant and over time
Can shut off plugged in items from anywhere

Cons: Mobile app UI takes time to get used to and is not very intuitive. Once you figure out where things are, it's not too bad
Date format for usage graph is european (DD/MM/YYYY). Emailed support to see if the format can be changed

Other Thoughts: Got this on special for $25. Don't think I would pay full price of $50 for it, but if they had it half price again, I would definitely buy another one.

Pros: Having bought several different power monitors, the Smart Plug Switch is the best so far. I like the ability to monitor the power over time from hours to days to weeks to a year. It will automatically switch the connected device OFF when your set point is set to a selectable max wattage is drawn or a usage power limit is reached or even a certain time of day on a selectable day or days.
You can set your cost per Kwatt and it will calculate your total cost. It will even email you to alert you of certain power events.
The android app. is reasonable but has a few oddities.
In order to set the schedules or anything, you have to enter a menu chain from the edit button and not when you are already in the monitor menus of a selected plug. In the monitor menu, you can see cost and usage graphs over selectable time, realtime usage stats with data of a week and month to compare. It would be nice if you could set the range on some of the graphs vertical scales to make the readings more meaningful.
Also the schedule button in the monitor section seems to be disabled and this is confusing if you haven't found the schedule section in the edit section.
It would also be better if you could export and print the data. You can print the screen with a additional screen print app but this should be built-in to the app.
These short comings are minor considering the features that are working and you really can not beat the price if you want to really know where and which devices are sucking power in you home.

Cons: Interface design could be better laid out with a more logical design flow. Better User Interface testing would help the developers understand the confusion of some users.
A built-in physical power limit breaker like what is on most power strips would be an added safety feature as an emergency shut off, if and when the firmware based feature fails.

Other Thoughts: The hardware seems to be solid and the android app is more stable than many other app I have used but continued development will make it even better over time.

Pros: Setup was easy
Has worked EXACTLY as it's supposed to every time.
Monitors energy usage.
I felt I got this for free as it came as part of a package deal for the price of the cam that was included in the package.

Cons: It isn't modular like WEMO products.

I would love to have these for every single appliance I own but at $50 apiece, it would get expensive. I'm hoping they'll become more affordable.

Other Thoughts: These really come in handy. It's great to be able to turn on my pc, or my external cloud storage drive, or the lights inside my house...all when I'm far from my home or from inside my house. I love these.
