The ZyXEL IPC3605N network camera can be used in a variety of surveillance applications. Ethernet and 802.11n wireless connection offer flexible internet connection. Thanks to the convenience of iSecurity+, available for iOS, Android, or through the Cloud Portal, you can check in on your camera from your phone or PC at any time. H.264 video encoding saves bandwidth without sacrificing video quality. The ZyXEL IPC3605N records video up to 30fps at 640 x 480 (15 FPS at 1280 x 720) and features 10x digital zoom, so you always get a clear view. For best-in-class surveillance day or night, the IPC3605N comes equipped with an array of IR LEDs to automatically illuminate darkened areas, providing perfect vision at up to 15 meters even in complete blackness.

Cons: Loses connectivity on regular basis. Since firmware update to 1.4 in April camera is unusable. Will not stay connected for longer than an hour then have to reinstall camera and go thru whole install process. Support is poor. No forums that I know off for help. Instructions are not the best, very vague. No help in instructions describing how to use setting adjustments in software. Other Thoughts: Stay away. Other reviews say the same. If I get help or get the issue resolved I will update but as of now I will never recommend or buy another one of their products. Did you find this review helpful? Sends 100's of mail messages for bogus motion detection at night, one night it was over 500 which got my email account suspended for sending spam from me to me. Delivery from newegg was fast. Cons: There was no wall mount included with the camera in the original packaging. I had to email zyxel support to have them send me a wall mount. They do so and shipped it overnight so that was nice support. Unfortunately, the camera can't be setup as it will not connect to any LAN. In order for the wireless functionality to be set up, it has to be originally set up with a direct connection. I have tried three cat5/6 cables in three different spots on my router/cable modem. These are spots that had a NAS box and a small mini itx server running fine off of. It was a waste of 100 bucks. Other Thoughts: I own a zyxel NAS box and it did not have any issues, but this camera has been nothing but a headache. I would recommend to anyone to consider a different brand. Cons: Does not and will not work consistently, their tech support have no clue. To point I am about to trash this. Worst software interface, and support site does not list a firmware update which their tech support will ask you to run, and that will screw this completely. Night vision is excellent with just a street lamp near my home providing plenty of light. The app works great on ipad and iphone and is free. They provide you with a wireless N adapter so do not buy one. Cons: Really none. Setup can be a little tricky if you have never dealt with internet protocols but not something to deduct a star. The manual ould be a little better to describe exactly what each camera setting does and recommend settings for specific use Other Thoughts: Glad I got it. It is visible in my front window facing street. Will not fool anyone that you have it but is still a deterrant as thy will know they are on camera. Also records at set times or by motion. Good software for these options and also holds micro SD card for recording.little tricky to set up but would not let it persuade you not to get it. I figured it out in about a half hour. If you want to view it direct on a PC and not thru Zyxels sight you must use Explorer. If you use Zyxels sight you can view it on any browser.
