1 out of 5 eggsQ-See QD54231Z PTZ camera

Pros: Near zero. Responsive Q-See customer support.

Cons: Original unit failed to enable auto focus and other documented menu items. Exchanged with a replacement and still not 100%. RS-485 com link is working OK. Tech support at Q-See was good but unable to resolve the install problem. Took over 19 days past the current 30 day Newegg resolution period to come full circle to a dysfunctional camera and now, Newegg has discontinued this camera. Not a big surprise why. 100% China junk with sloppy documentation and CD that is labeled only "Software." For $700 I expected more than a giant pain.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy Q-See. One one hand you get what you paid for and on the other, you don't get what you paid for.
