Pros: Crazy easy setup, can view online, can view on smartphone app. Cameras are small, seem semi-durable. Very clear image on screen and playback. Night vision works very well. Does have a fairly limited range but its advertised night range is more than true.

Cons: Wires do seem a lil flimsy, definately want to be carefull running them, (no tugging). Motion detection is hard to dial in at night. Works great in the daytime but wold have to change settings for nighttime, (mostly due to my situation). Spiderwebs in front of camera glow like crazy but once again, its infrared lighting on something up close... its gonna glow bright.

Other Thoughts: For the money I see no way to make this better. If you want better you'll have to spend more, but this setup is way more than adequate for your normal, (and above normal), security needs.

Cons: * Does not actually support PTZ cameras

Other Thoughts: I was very happy with this DVR until I went to hook up my PTZ camera. There is no RS-485 connector on the back of this unit, even though it claims to "take control of PTZ devices" in the description. If you don't need PTZ functionality, this is otherwise a great device.

Pros: This is a great deal. I have various revisions of this aposonic unit out there and none have failed. the set up is super easy. Cameras are good quality. Without making the jump to high end pelcos you will not get better vallued cameras for the money!!!!

Remote viewing on ios and androids a snap!!!!!!!

Cons: Obviously a foreign company sometimes the english in their manuals and menus leave a little to be desired.

Other Thoughts: You really can not go wrong for the price!!!
