The Aposonic A-S1602R25 DVR is implemented with H.264 Video Compression technology to give users more flexibility and stability on monitoring their valuable personal and business assets. Users can independently tune all 16 camera channels with its own HUE, SATURATION, BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST that meets your own surveillance cameras quality specifications. Each channel can be uniquely titled for your recording purpose.

A-S1604R25 has been tested with 2TB S-ATA Hard drives available today. Hard drive installation task takes less than 15 minutes, managing through the friendly on-screen menu can get user started right away! Hard drive menu functions allow user to perform formatting, view real-time estimation of remaining capacity & available recording time frame. An automatic over-write option allows DVR to recycle the oldest DVR recorded videos data back into free space when DVR capacity becomes full.

A-S1604R25 DVR's network user accounts can be customized with remote monitoring privilages. Administrator login can remotely manage & configure several DVR locations over the internet in just minutes, imagine how much time can be saved with the convenience of internet networking.

I was wrong, although the settings look nothing like the local GUI. There is an icon you click in the web gui that opens a window of settings in multiple tabs. once you have made the changes you want there is an upload button and the settings are uploaded and applied on the fly. Cons: So i guess not the best GUI and software takes some tinkering the learn and get down. its cumbersome, but it works. Wish the web GUI mirrored the local GUI. Did you find this review helpful? Lots of Features, Good GUI. Good detailed setup Manual. decent picture quality on the highest testing. Cons: All but the highest resolution are completely washed out with artifacting. So Dont expect to get this and use high compression on the video. Get a 2TB harddrive and leave the compression on normal. You cant Control/setup the DVR with the web GUI. You have to be at the dvr. web only gives you viewing. Other Thoughts: I set this DVR up with 600TVL sony super HAD II cameras. 2x 9 Channel12V O/P 7A PTC Power Supply. Dont get the pre-done Siamese Cable that isnt actualy Siamese Cable. Its not that hard to to crimp your own and it makes wireing easyer when you have true Siamese Cable, so you can split the power part to its own location. Did you find this review helpful? It’s really easy to installed, simply plug in the camera then you are finish. No-hassle! I will recommend this standalone DVR, for anyone who needs to secure their home or business. I purchase this system for my business, and I love the flexibility that you can do with this DVR. CMS software is great, it will allow you to remote access all standalone DVR’s into one single screen. Anyways it’s the Best! Got to try it out then you will know what I mean. Cons: I GOT NONE! Other Thoughts: I will definitely purchase more for my other installation project in the future. There customer service is the best, the technician Jeff were able to help me through the setup.
