2 out of 5 eggsNot complete trash

Pros: Easy to setup and view remotely either through local network or over the internet if you set it up properly. You can view your cameras through an iPhone or Android app.

Cons: Cameras don't have a lot of IR LED but even with the one ring on it there should be something showing up other than complete black. I have stood 3 feet away from the camera and nothing is viewed on camera at night. I have lit a cigarette lighter close to my face at the same distance and the only thing you see on camera is the lighter. Don't expect to use these at night unless it happened to be a bad batch.

Other Thoughts: At least the IR red lights warn people that they are being recorded at night even though they do not function as IR.

Got the unit on sale and didn't bother returning it because I already had working night cameras. Still acceptable since the unit was $110 delivered and came with cables. Wouldn't buy anything from this company again though because of poor quality control.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA and no tech support response

Pros: can't think of; given that it doesn't work.

Cons: Problem 1 - somehow there is no video feed from camera to the DVR. All black.

Problem 2 - emailed manufacturer's tech support; waited for 6 days. No response whatsoever.

You should be warned. The manufacturer has no phone support; only by email.

Other Thoughts: I had bought other cheap CCTV DVR kits before. This one is a total loss.

1 out of 5 eggsPass...

Pros: None

Cons: This product is not worth the box it was shipped in... the 21ft IR cameras are good for 3ft in the dark. Windows IE refuses to allow a connection to the DVR. Viewing resolution quality of cameras on the inputs is awful, and of course then so are the recordings. The UI is amateurish and certainly not designed by someone that knows English.
