5 out of 5 eggsGreat bargain, love the night vision.

Pros: Great video quality at 700 TVL. Comparing it to the 520 TVL that I bought from other company (which came as a bundle kit), this camera has far better night time image. The day time image is also better than the 520TVL I have, but the difference is not as great as its night vision. Just can’t beat it with the quality at this price point. Definitely recommended!

Cons: No complain at this price.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for something that captures super clear image like your digital camera or smart phone, look elsewhere for an IP solution or SDI solution for roughly $150 to thousands of dollars. Analog solution is for people like me who have limited budget and also want adequate quality. =)

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of Junk

Pros: it powers up.

Cons: the video quality is terrible. produces a horizontal line across the bottom of the screen. very cheaply made.

Other Thoughts: wasted $20 something on this camera. I would advise everyone to stay away from this cheap piece of junk and buy something of better quality. I have bought all types of security cameras over the past 10 years. I can honestly say this is the worst one yet.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent for the price!

Pros: For indoor only cams they work great. For small to average rooms the night vision is decent.

With my system set to high quality recording these look better than the old 480 line cams I was using.

I would purchase these again if I ever have a need to add more to my existing system!

Cons: None at all!

Other Thoughts: Others complaining about picture quality probably have low end recording units, and cables which will always make a difference in visual quality on any system.

Any cam without a filter will look washed out if sunlight is hitting it directly!

Purchased a few of these to replace some old 480 line indoor cams I had, when on sale they are well worth the price! They also sell a version of this cam with a Sony color had sensor.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't expect much

Pros: Small

Cons: Picture quality

Other Thoughts: I wasn't expecting much for the price of this camera, and I didn't get much. I have many cameras, from the low resolution ones that came with my system, to some pretty decent 700 TVL ones. This camera has worse picture quality than my 380 TVL cams, and doesn't handle sunlight nearly as well. Daytime use when the sun is shining almost completely washes out the picture, and the night vision mode is also lacking. I figured this 700 TVL cam would be an improvement over my other cheap cams, I was wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy!

Pros: 700 TVL at this price, I mean, it's just unbeatable. The video quality during the day OR night is far more superior than my old 420 and 480 TVL cameras, and they were also more expensive than this one. Installation was a breeze. Just twist off the base, mount the base to the ceiling, and twist the ball lens back in to the base and done. With the price and sharp images from 700 TV Line resolution, I can really hardly think of a complaint.

Cons: Indoor only. The material is not designed for outdoor.

2 out of 5 eggscan't be 700 lines cctv - wide angle

Pros: It plugs in to a standard bnc plus 12v connection and you have video. Nice looking on the outside. Easy adjusting (except focus).

Cons: for some reason this shows-up/appears to have the same quality as my zmodo 400 line cameras.

Other Thoughts: I was trying to upgrade - waste of time. I would step up in price. These appear to be as cheap as they are priced. I bought two on sale and have been humbled by my own cheapness. Spend more, get more. Sorry I can't immediately post more results of use but, I wanted to get the word out - save your money for a better model. Yes, I even went back to the DVR to check it's resolution settings to see if I was getting the true output.
