Pros: Out of the box easy. Set up was a snap with the label system. Phone support was great too for a problem I ran into by no fault of Night Owl. Newegg continues to keep my business with their service.

Cons: 60' of cable is ok if your able to go straight from the DVR to the cameras, otherwise, I suggest you pick up a couple of the 100' cables too.

Other Thoughts: I was unable to keep the system as my ISP provider does not support the equipment they provided and I was unable after 5 hours of phone support and 2 level 2 techs to open the ports I needed for remote access on my Android phone or laptops from another location. Kudos for Newegg and Night Owl for their help in this cluster. I have been and always will be a loyal customer to Newegg. I have only returned 2 things, and both were no problem. Thank you Newegg.

Pros: Cameras seem solid, very durable. Plenty of cable to each camera (60 ft.), almost too much really. Easy to use program. people with basic knowledge of computers can easily run playback, set up recording schedules, etc. included USB mouse or remote makes it easy to use, whatever you prefer.

Other Thoughts: Camera cable seemed a bit on the thin side, but nothing i wouldnt recommend it over

Pros: Easy to set up. Cameras are very low profile and almost not detectable when mounted under eaves. DVR seems like a quality built product (China, of course, but still not too shabby). Plenty of hard drive space. Includes a USB mouse which helps while setting up.

Cons: Only thing that I wish was a little better is the camera quality. On bright sunny days everything's a bit washed out and overly white. I got exactly what I expected though. Decent quality and at a low price. Could have bought 8 higher res cameras but it would have been twice as much as this whole package here.
Most of the included cabling is long enough but for a couple of long runs you'll have to buy more.

Other Thoughts: I purchased high quality BNC cables for most of my cameras to make sure it lasts awhile. The included cables are quite cheap and thin. Make sure to use the included version of NetViewer from the CD. I couldnt get others to work. Also, I use IPcam Viewer Pro app on my Android phone. Works flawlessly. Have all the right ports forwarded in your router directly to your DVR, ie. 9000, 80, 18004, and 1024 and everything will work. I love this thing and will be purchasing a PTZ camera soon to add on. I'd highly recommend this to everyone and plan to install one at my Mom's place for security. I should probably give it 5 eggs but decided to drop one since the camera quality isn't as pristine as I kinda wished it would be, even with my aftermarket low-ohm cables.

Pros: Easy set up with lots of camera cable (60ft.). All straight forward installation, setup and and use.

Cons: Camera's narrow view angle could be better for more coverage, but what do you expect for such a reasonable price.

Other Thoughts: Thank you Newegg for fast service as usual.

Pros: Simple to set up and install. Low price. Running just over a month, no crashes so far.

Cons: Wish the cameras also came in white housings, a little less visible that way. Requires included software be installed in client machines for network/internet viewing.

Other Thoughts: Haven't tried any smartphone access yet, narrow field of view is a drawback in some cases.
