Pros: Inexpensive...until it breaks.

Cons: Purchased three--all were dead within a couple months. The sad thing is that two of them were unused backups that I didn't test until the first one died. One of the problem that I could sort of work with was a weak spot in the cable that causes them to have no picture unless the cable is bent at exactly the right angle. Note, this is out of the box, not after being used. Another problem that I can't work with is it shutting off intermittently. It would power cycle itself every ~ 45 seconds and then work for a couple of hours.

Other Thoughts: Contacted support to exchange the defective items. They asked for proof of purchase information. I sent it. Didn't hear back from them. Contacted them and sent it again. Finally just gave up.

Cons: Never buy this item. Even RMA replacement broke after month. I lost cost + shipping. very annoying.

Cons: DEAD ON ARRIVAL. NO LUCK . I LOST TIME AND RETURN SHIPPING FEE.

Pros: Cheap. Easy to hook up. Picture sharpness was okay.

Cons: It had scrolling horizontal bands that cover about a quarter of the screen. I attempted to adjust all settings on the camera attached to the converter as well as adjusting all settings on the convert itself. I attached the converter to a 17” Dell LCD.

Other Thoughts: Read what the other reviews say. My advice is to spend the money and purchase a new monitor with a BNC input. Newegg has some 15-inch "security monitors" for about 250 bucks.

Pros: Has several resolution options

Cons: Provides poor image quality - noticable less sharp than the direct BNC image.

Other Thoughts: The concept is terrific, and if you don't require a crystal clear image than this device would be perfect.

Pros: Replaced a B&W Security monitor with a LCD and used this to adapt it. Picture is fine, Mine is running in PAL mode 640 x480

Cons: Took a bit of playing with the settings to get the picture.

Cons: The picture quality made this unit almost unusable. We use Geovision surveillance servers in all our stores and am transitioning all our large bulky CCTV monitors over to LCD's. I have tried this unit (as well as two others) and the picture quality was horrible. All images were blurry and made it impossible to tell if somebody stole a product or not.

Other Thoughts: If a manufacture can produce one of these cards that produce HIGH QUALITY images we would be willing to pay $100 per unit but nobody has been able to do it yet.

Cons: Very poor picture quality!! I thought I could get by with a cheap replacement for one that burned out on me - you get what you pay for - going to purchase a better one.
