You can create an elegant in-wall touchscreen controller using an iPad Mini and the iPort Control Mount Mini for iPad Mini. Featuring a paintable bezel frame, the Control Mount offers an ideal way to semi-permanently flush-mount the iPad without sacrificing aesthetics. Use the mounted iPad as a touchscreen controller for home automation, audio/video, HVAC and more! The mount also features continuous charging, so your iPad stays powered at all times. It secures the iPad to keep it from being removed from the wall. The iPad is trimmed by a magnetic mounting frame and the touchscreen remains open to provide in-wall access to the user interface. The mount charges the iPad Mini over Cat5 cable, which connects to a power supply at the included audio/power wallplate.
