Poor quality, damaged equipment
Cons: Failed in about 1 year. Capacitors inside exploded, melted enclosure and caused over-voltage to connected equipment.
Other Thoughts: Purchased this to power a 2A load (CCTV DVR). With 5A rating, plenty of extra amps I thought. Worked for about 1 year and then failed catastrophically. I took it apart for analysis. The large mains rectifier capacitor (Chinese brand) appears to have bulged and started leaking, causing it to short out/heat up. The plastic housing near the capacitor is deformed due to melting. Underside of circuit board shows significant arcing occurred likely due to pooling of capacitor fluid. Ironically, the internal fuse is not blown. The unit self-destructed by melting the circuit board traces near the plug. Connected equipment had several blown components that were attached to the 12V rail indicating overvoltage occurred before failure. Needed to replace the DVR's harddrive and ventilation fan.

Doing the Job
Pros: Works well for the size and the number of ports. Ideal if you do not want to run power from a power box.
Cons: The power fluctuates some times depending in what else is in the same plug. Had to undo connections and re-plug and work fine. However, this may be signals of not ideal for the number of plugs. Therefore, I am only using five out of the nine and is working fine.
Other Thoughts: Minus one egg because can not fully use all plugs.
