2 out of 5 eggsVery Disapointed

Pros: Small, light weight, low heat. Camera's small easy to place in unnoticeable areas.

Cons: unit didn't work strait out of box. After spending 1 hour on hold for their tech staff, they pick up and say 'phone not working sorry' and hang up. Needless to say I called right back and gave them a ear full. Turns out the VGA Port is DOA, so only BNC video or RGB via a BNC to RGB converter. Camera's are extremely cheap, I could get better picture quality off of a 20 dollar web cam sorry to say.

Once I got video up, the menu settings far as the manual were concerned weren't even the same, so toss the manual, its worthless, once you get to the video screen the only thing that seems to be correct in the manual is the 'entering admin password', after that it was a guessing game as nothing was the same as what was printed in the manual.

Other Thoughts: I spent alot of time looking at different systems for a simple little video setup, and I thought this one would be good, from the advertisement pictures, supported features, and customer feed back at the various sites I looked at. Seems I was suckered into thinking this was a good unit when in fact its a poor cry to be a video security system. if your looking for something cheap to play with, and not wanting it for anything serious, then zmobo is for you, otherwise, look at getting a different system.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Overall

Pros: Can get facial recognition up to about 9 feet based on the resolution of the camera. Easy to setup and get running. I was able to cut off the connectors and just splice the wires together to make it easier to run the wires through the walls. (at the camera end keep the two reds and two blacks together as there are 2 of each if you do this.) Overall decent for what you pay for. I plan later to get a higher res /zoomable cam for better resolution on the camera i use to view a large area but for small areas like the front entrace it's awesome.

Cons: Green shows up as pink, can't seem to adjust Saturation or Hue enough to fix this even remotely. I know it's just the cameras though so can replace one later to get a better image. DVRR doesn't allow network uploading, i'm not sure if any do, it's just something I wish it did so I would not have to hide the DVR in the house. Maybe a future zmodo upgrade? The wires are kind of thin and prone to interference but not so much it's annoying at least for me.

Other Thoughts: Overall it does what I need it too, could use 1 higher res camera for large areas and wish it had a network upload.
