2 out of 5 eggsnewegg description in error

Pros: Nice looking and well built, wish they had painted over the backs of the leds so they didnt draw your focus.

Cons: Newegg list the life expectance of the fan as 150,000 hrs on thier site , but when i got it the manufacturer rates it at 50,000 hrs on the package, so thats 1/3 what was advertised on newegg. Had i know i woulda went with a different fan.

2 out of 5 eggsMaking squeaky noises after a few weeks

Pros: Looks great
Innovative design

Cons: Silent at first then squeaky noises after a few weeks of being in my case. I tried a few things to resolve it, but ended up throwing them out of my case.

Other Thoughts: There are definitely better options out there for quiet, 120mm fans.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Wait to Check

Pros: This power supply is rated very high. Today I ordered a replacement confident this one won't be defective.

Cons: Defective our of the box but unfortunately, the box wasn't opened for several months. It was purchased as a Christmas 2012 present for my son and he didn't start the build until recently (May 2013).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat looking, quiet fans

Pros: Very Quiet
Move a lot of air
Look great in my blue/black themed case

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Very underrated fan brand. I'm running two of them as top intake on my case. Look and sound great and reduced my CPU temps by a few degrees.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Very fast.
Overclocks well.
Handles everything I throw at it with ease. Crysis 3 running max with 4x MSAA at 50fps
Looks very nice too!

Cons: DOA when I first got it. I normally wouldn't deduct an egg for this, but the RMA process took over a month and communications with HIS RMA support were quite a hassle.

Other Thoughts: Gets quite loud at higher RPMs, but it usually doesn't need to since it runs below 50% GPU usage on many of my games.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't turn on

Pros: It's a cheap phone with a lot of features.

Cons: Did not turn on out of the box. I called the warranty support and they did not help at all.

5 out of 5 eggsVirus protection

Pros: Does a good job. Never got a virus and have been using it for almost 10 years and I go to all the flakey websites.
Got it on sale "egg blast " for 10 bucks. Will install new version rather than pay the 50 bucks to Norton for the upgrade on my older version for another year

Cons: To the guy on 5/19 that wrote
"Cons: takes up a lot of resources, takes much longer to scan an entire computer/server by approx. 3-4 hours longer."
You must be doing something wrong or your computer is out of date or has tons of bloat ware on it. Scans my PC in 20 minutes. You should try an reinstall it.

Other Thoughts: Can;t beat the $10.00 for sale price.

4 out of 5 eggsPowerful Quad-Core with all the latest features - runs cool and quiet.

Pros: Used in a new build to replace and AMD 965BE - since this has the same amount of cache and cores, I wasn't expecting a huge performance gain or anything. I am pleasantly surprised with the gains I have seen - gaming and general use are noticeably faster/better with this CPU in comparison. Includes HD2500 video, which is a small bonus with the QuickSync feature (hardware accelerated video playback quality is superb). Been some time since I used a stock heatsink/fan, and I'm not disappointed in Intel's reference cooler. It's pretty darn quiet and quite small - I like the looks of it as well. It is also MUCH BETTER than the AM3 reference cooler on the noise front. Burn-in with Prime95 and OCCT revealed the biggest difference between this and current AMD CPUs - heat. This thing just does not get hot, in a decent case it never will. Low heat also means low noise and better reliability. Dealing with large compressed files is now much faster, as are virus/anti-malware scans. Overall I'm quite happy with this CPU.

Current System:
Intel i5-3330 CPU
8GB (2x4GB) ADATA DDR3-1600 9-9-9-24 Memory
Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB SSD
PNY Geforce GTX650Ti 1GB PCI-E Video
Asus P8B75-M LX Plus Motherboard
Rosewill R5 Mid-Tower ATX Case
Rosewill RD600 Power Supply

All stock settings/hardware configurations.

Cons: At almost $200, it was hard not to take the plunge on an FX8350 or pony up for a 3570K instead. This CPU is a *little* less of a value proposition than it should be.

Other Thoughts: Scored one new in box on a popular auction site for less than $150. This made this CPU a killer deal. Intel's MSRP could drop $15 across the i5 line and AMD would go bankrupt.
