Vonnic VCB240S 540 TV Lines MAX Resolution Outdoor Night Vision Bullet Camera

Pros: Good image quality, nice zoom capability, great field of view and its is extremely sturdy.
This is a solid camera

Cons: The fact that it can't be mounted on the ceiling (or eve) is definitely a con. The colors aren't great but there may be a setting I haven't found (I've only adjusted it through the dvr).

Other Thoughts: I bought this camera to replace the one that came bundled with the dvr. Overall the image quality is much better than the original 480tvl camera that it replaced and night vision is WAY better. It seems to adjust the light sensitivity as you approach so you are visible even with the IR reflection (with the old cameras you would just see a ball of light rather than a face).

I bought another camera from a surveillance store that is 700tvl, the image quality on this camera is at least as good as the high end 700tvl camera I got for much more money.
I could honestly recommend this camera to someone.

Pros: Reasonably price varifocal camera. Good color and image quality as well as build quality.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Power adapter is extra and this is a good replacement for the Aposonic A-CDBIV07 also sold at Newegg.

Pros: The camera that worked was fine

Cons: 1/2 DOA.

Other Thoughts: I bought these cameras to replace the Vonnic cameras that have slowly been dying over the last year. I but the all in one kit just to try out home security. It seemed ok at first bet I had to replace a camera within a few months of use. I then had to replace a power supple. The replacement power supply failed quickly so I bought a replacement at a local electronic store and it has worked fine. The original cameras have slowly been failing so I saw these cameras as a Shell Shocker and bought 2. One worked fine but the other was DOA. I called Vonnic customer support and tried to get help but it was a waste of time. The support rep said the power supply from the all-in-one unit wasn't adequate to run these cams and I probably burned it up and it won't be covered because of misuse. I explained that I was using a different power supply anyway so he suggested returning it to NewEgg. Poor quality control, poor customer service. I am still looking for quality replacement cams
