Pros: Picture in ad looks cool.

Cons: Right out of the box, sun shield fit loosely and rattled in the wind...had to shim with rubber washer. Camera is large with lots of IR leds, so you would think night vision would be great...WRONG. Night vision is DISMAL(maybe 15' at best). It works no better than the cheap cameras that came with the system. Daytime colors are all wrong and washed out. Blacks look green, green appear pinkish. Images are no sharper than cameras that cost half as much. Forget the 680 TVL hype, as that is why I bought. I have 420 TVL cameras that outperform this turkey. $75 is about $70 more than it is worth. This was the 2nd most expensive (on sale) camera in the system of eight...4 being with the system bundle. Any camera of the other 7 perform at least as well.

1 out of 5 eggsDaytime good. Nighttime bad.

Pros: Excellent wide angle image in daytime.

Cons: Terrible 'noise' makes nighttime image worthless. I purchased an expensive cable and power supply for the camera; neither helped. When the LEDS turn on they show up on the image as a 'halo' around the image.

Other Thoughts: I RMA'd the first camera thinking I had a defective unit. I finally got a replacement, but it's just as bad. Now it's too late for a refund. Don't waste your money.
