The eSecure ES038567 8 Channel H.264 surveillance kit is suitable for home, small or medium business environment. This all-in-one surveillance kit is equipped with 6 day & night cameras (4x IR bullet + 2x IR dome), one 8-Ch H.264 DVR and high stability system which supports remote monitoring via PC or 3G smart phones, email alerts, video search by time and motion detection event. Setting up the system is a breeze thanks to the point-and-click set-up and system navigation with intuitive interface and included USB mouse.

8 Channel DVR The 8 Channel H.264 DVR offers multiple recording resolution options, allowing you to either select CIF real-time recording for space saver and longer recording time (30 FPS per channel x8 at 352x240 resolution), or choose any mix to record at CIF real-time (30 FPS) and Max 2x D1 (30 FPS). This 8 Channel DVR allows you to watch live or recorded video from up to 6 cameras at once.
H.264 Technology H.264 compression maximizes recording time and efficiently transfer video via the Internet.
6 Day & Night Cameras 4 weather-proof Outdoor/Indoor Bullet type and 2 Indoor Eyeball type IR day and night cameras offer night vision up to 30 feet.

Daylight images are OK, Cons: If you're wanting night time security, these cameras are only good for about 10 feet at night. You have to walk up 5 feet from the camera to trigger it. Granular motion/detection/time scheduler. Up to 9 different record channels. Cons: No HD (but that was clearly stated. Software CD is homemade. Software interface is full of grammar mistakes. Software is extremely hard to figure out, not intuitive. Sparse documentation. Included printed documentation is useless. Web access outside home network requires additional web service. Web interface requires activex download from a Chinese server. You really don't know what you are installing... Other Thoughts: I am hoping this device will work. The controller works as advertised and can be controlled by the included remote, mouse, or front panel.
