1 out of 5 eggsGARBAGE

Pros: Worked for 1 week.

Cons: Was using this to monitor our living room. Died after one week. Just stopped working. Software won't recognize with hard wire connection either. Access from the net was a joke even with correct port forwarding. I should have looked at common webcam software /apps first so I would have found that Keebox is not a brand referenced in ANY of them. I have many other cams here and even some name brands that were cheaper. They all still function perfectly. My Edimax cams are good too. Problem is, I bought this piece of junk last year and just now mounted and began using so, I am prob out of luck getting a replacement.

Other Thoughts: AVOID!

5 out of 5 eggsbudget and work great!

Pros: Bought it when it has a promotion, and works great after installation. I can see the live video while away from home. After some setup, it did send the captured pictures to the email account. However, I am still trying to figure out the sensitivity of the motion detection (It seems to me that it sent too many pictures).

Cons: no night vision (but that is expected for such a low price)

5 out of 5 eggsnice so far...got it the way I wanted

Pros: My review for the IPC1000WI was actually for this product!

Good deal with promo so purchased 3 units to go with my existing two Linksys units. Software setup was a breeze but I had to install the software and config from there and not use the camera setup from cd. Once configured, wireless setup worked great. Next step was to set them up on my android for external viewing when I'm not home. A breeze. Use ipcamview from the market and use the Airlink AIC250 Series driver to get it to work.

People have to remember to set up a special port for use with your WAN ip address and also use port forwarding via your modem/router so that your firewall doesn't block it. This will allow you to view externally without problems.

No need for a dynamic ip service as Internet cable companies rarely change your ip. You just have to use a special port. I've been using the same ip since I got Internet...and it's supposed to be dynamic!

Cons: None yet. Hopefully these cameras last as long as my linksys cams have lasted.

Other Thoughts: To the guy who can't find how to turn off the signal lights...it's in the configuration page :)

I haven't played with email or motion detection yet so hopefully this works. I don't really need this function for these cams though.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks!

Pros: Got it on sale this week. Didn't use CD to setup, just plugged in network cord, determined the IP from my router and got into the setup screens. Setup wifi from there. Downloaded latest version of KView from keebox.com. Installed and found my camera right away. Image quality is pretty good. Everything seems to be working just fine so far.

Cons: Does not have a very wide field of view.

Other Thoughts: To setup on Android phone for remote viewing you have to setup port forwarding on your router which needs some knowledge of your modem/router to do. Then download the free IP Cam View Basic app from the Android Market. Select camera type Dlink/Dlink DCS-1000 Series (Keebox not listed). Enter the external IP & Port configured on your router. Enter camera username/pw and connect. Works great. A bit laggy on the video, but hey it is live over the internet.

4 out of 5 eggsBargain Cam

Pros: It has a good image for it's price and works well. It is worth the price at $40...not ready to pay the normal price for one though. That being said I do not know how it compares to others under $100. I am happy I bought it.

Cons: The software is sketchy. That cost a star. It took some time to get it working but this is my first PC video device so I had a learning curve. The motion triggering requires a major movement in the whole image...it would not trigger on a small change like someone walking up the driveway at full sensitivity.

Other Thoughts: Will try other software per other reviewers comments. I wish I had bought a few of them at the $40 price.

4 out of 5 eggsRather Impressed

Pros: Great Image for 640x480
Wireless N (Single Band)
$40 Price tag both times I purchased
Defaults to DHCP so no one time use software/tools needed
Great form factor
Solid Mounting bracket
Camera has 2 Mounting Points. One on the back and one on the bottom. (May fit outdoor enclosure)
Standard Camera Mount thread size
Low Power Consumption
Rather Stable (within range and reason)
One-Way Audio
Blue/Purple Flashing LED (Can be turned off in the web configuration!)
Supports up to 20 fps@640x480... really only see 5-10 on wireless but wired full 20!

++Huge Plus++
Works with BlueIris... with some adjustments!
Just add as IP Camera. Add IP Address, username & password. Select JPEG requests and for the image path: /image.jpg

Cons: Single Band N (only 2.4Ghz no 5-5.8Ghz Radio)
Terrible in no light conditions (No IR or night vision)
One of the Cameras is at a wireless threshold so I had to lower the framerate to 3fps@640x480 to keep it stable.
No direct blueiris support yet (but I showed you how to add it!)

Other Thoughts: I ordered two of these for $39.99 a few weeks ago and had planned to add them to my Windows BlueIris DVR software. Needed wireless so I said for $40 each... I cannot loose!

I was right. These things are great for $40-50. I was able to stand one camera up and mount it in my window looking out, and the other in another window looking out at the door. I have to keep the porch light on... but hey.. its a low watt anyway and beats the cost of a break in.

For those who don't know what blueiris software is... check it out! Free trial/download and it will turn out to be the best $29.99/49.99 you will spend! Motion detection, email alerts, remote access, remote playback, webcast support, scheduling & a great support community. Very responsive to requests for help. I ran zoneminder for 18 months and was truthfully never pleased. Tried BlueIris and was impressed at how much of a turn key PC-DVR it was!

Have Windows XP Vista or 7 (32/64)?! Well in 5 minutes you will have complete DVR p

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Solid Cameras

Pros: Self contained, Email snapshots, Wireless N, Easy configuration through web interface. WiFi Protected Setup.

Cons: Horrible software. CD totally sucked for me. I had no text on setup cd, (neither one and I had 2 cd's because I purchased 2 cameras) only pictures. Had to set cams up manually.
Picture gets washed out in even a little sunlight.

Other Thoughts: I called tech support to help setup the cameras when the CD did not work right. They were completely useless. After 30 minutes of nonsense told me my cameras (I purchased 2) were defective. I set them up myself manually and they work great. Tech support is defective. Horrible, very difficult to understand accent.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks with limitations

Pros: Easy to setup, wireless, easy web GUI, has audio!

Cons: Unable to get it working on an Android based phone. I've been unable to find ANY info regarding this... On the front of the box it states it works with 3G/4G phones...

Other Thoughts: I can't complain too much, this thing was easy to setup, decent looking image and is viewable from any regular computer using either activeX or Java...
