Thanks to the convenient switch located in the center of the lamp you can use your SmartLAMP without your phone to switch it on or off or to change the ambiance. Pressing the switch circles the following sequence: full white power – half white power – last custom setting used – off and then back to full white.

How close do I need to be to control my SmartLAMP?

As with any radiofrequency communication, actual distance varies according to the location of your SmartLAMP, the type of building you live in and local interferences. Average distance is 10meters / 33 feet as per Bluetooth standards.

Can I use the SmartLAMP while listening to some music on a Bluetooth speaker or headphones?

There's absolutely no restriction to simultaneously connect your smartphone to your SmartLAMP and to stream music to any other Bluetooth audio device. Definitively. You can use the dawn simulator to wake up naturally what is a way better option than to wake up to the strident sound of traditional alarm clocks! Select a time and your SmartLAMP will gradually brighten to wake you up gently.

How many Smart LAMPS can I control simultaneously?

You can buy as many lamps as you want (thanks for that) but due to Bluetooth restrictions, you can control up to 3 SmartLAMP at the same time.

How is the setup process?

Simple as 1.2.3. First, download the app. Second, plug your SmartLAMP to your wall plug then press the central switch for 3 seconds up to see blue light on your lamp. Third, go to the Bluetooth settings of your phone/tablet, switch your Bluetooth ON and connect to "holi^". You now can open the holi^ app and start enjoying your SmartLAMP.

What is the LED life expectancy? Can I replace them? What is the energy rating of the SmartLAMP? Using advanced LEDs, the SmartLAMP uses more than 6x less energy than a traditional light bulb.

But perhaps even more of an advantage than the considerable energy saving capabilities of LEDs is their incredibly long life. The lifespan of a LED is vastly longer than that of incandescent or fluorescent lamp sources: the LEDs used in the SmartLAMP will are rated to last 50,000 hours or longer. That's 27 years at 4 hours use per day.

And LEDs don't burn out like standard lamps, so individual LED do not need to be replaced. Instead, the LEDs gradually produce lower output levels over a very long period of time. And in the unlikely event of one LED falling, it does not produce a complete fixture outage.
