Pros: Easy to setup and get running and sounds terrific. Bought an HDMI cable to go along with it and it's just outstanding. Also bought an Optical Digital Audio Cable for my Xbox 360 and it is just amazing. Definitely worth the cash, although I got it when it was on sale for $220. Have had it for a few days no with no real problems. Also the built in radio and Ipod connection is a massive plus if you'll use it.
Cons: The 2nd day I had the system, I noticed that the center speaker had sound only coming out of the right speaker (in the picture you can see 2 speaker holes on the center speaker), but nothing out of the left. I called customer service and they said it's built that way, that it only has 1 speaker inside it. I even lifted the speaker and it felt heavier on the right side. So I guess it's not really a problem, but it sure is misleading.
Other Thoughts: Besides the small disappointment with the center speaker, the overall system has been working terrific w/o any problems.

Pros: The sound, quality of the equipment.
Cons: LG now come on, what are the remote codes for this unit? I've looked all over the internet and there's no info at all. I would like to program my Direct TV remote.
Other Thoughts: I bought speaker stands for my rear speakers and I'm happy overall with the look these add to my living room. The sound is ridiculous in the best way!

Cons: doesnt come with hdmi cable or optical so purchase these with your order...
Other Thoughts: i hate the shiny black finish wish the had one with a matte finish

Pros: I bought it cause it had 5 eggs. It delivers 3x more than expected. It will play whatever you throw at it. MP3's, Avi, cdr,dvdr,usb not to mention it makes my new Samsung 52" rock. It is possibly the best $ 200.00 I have every spent.
Cons: Small wire but works fine with it. Go figure.

Pros: Deceptively powerful speakers. Certain to disturb your neighbors if you live in an apartment. I watched District 9 on Blu-ray, and the entire house shook, yet the sound stayed perfectly clear. If you closed your eyes you'd swear you were in the theater. The rear channels are actually loud enough, which is something I haven't yet experienced with a 5.1 system. Included speaker wire is sufficiently long enough for a modestly-sized living room. I am passing the audio through my HDTV via an optical cable, and I have not experienced any sound lag. My TV is a Samsung Series 8 LED TV.
Cons: The IR remote is unresponsive, and there is no memory for settings, so every time you turn the receiver off it resets back to factory defaults. Not a terribly big deal since I use different settings depending on whether I'm watching a movie or playing a game.
Other Thoughts: I can't comment on the quality of the upscaled DVD player, because I haven't used it. LG could've cut this feature out, and it still would've been worth the price.
