Rosewill - 3.5mm Audio Extension Cable - 6 FEET

Pros: Working fine.

Cons: some high-pass filtering/loss of bass

Other Thoughts: if a AUX cord extension is what you need, this is as good as any

Pros: Works as intended as long as you don't swivel the male end.

Cons: There is noticeable crackling if you swivel the male end around. No crackling if the male end is completely static.

Other Thoughts: It works for now, I would like a better quality version, but there really isn't one I could find that did not have a crackling issue in their review.

Pros: The connectors are of solid construction

Cons: Audio quality is terrible, I listen to music (cd/dvd quality) all day while I work and needed a new extender, when this cable is plugged all the way in (the way it should be), bass is reduced by ~75% and the audio range shrinks by maybe 1/3. If I unplug the plug by maybe 2/5, the quality changes significantly (comparable as if I weren't using the extender at all).

If I nudge or otherwise shift the plug, audio quality goes back to poor (since the plug is not all the way in, the connection is inherently weak).

Other Thoughts: Buy 5 or 6 of the $0.76 cables that you see and just pick the two or three that are best, you'll probably end up just as well off as buying one of these cables.

Pros: Audio extention cable, simply does its job. Its a good quality cable.

Pros: Worked fine, not much to it really, it's a simple cable.

Cons: Last about 8 months before the connection started getting really staticy. Part of the wire must of gave out bc it no longer allowed for both speakers to work, I have a different cable that worked fine, so it wasn't the device I had it plugged into. Too bad bc now I have no choice but to go with a different brand.

Pros: Does what its supposed to do.

Cons: Plugging headphones/speakers in may result in little to no sound. You have to either plug them in perfectly or fiddle with the connection till there is at least adequate sound (I've found that keeping it unplugged by about 1mm will get it to work). This process can take several moments and is a complete waste of time as there is a serious drop in sound levels (55% volume vs 19%-28% volume without the cable). Nearly breaking my headphones every now and then is better than listening to everything muffled.

Other Thoughts: If you have a lot of patience and don't mind muffled sound, then this is perfect for you. Otherwise, put a little more money down for a better quality cable.

Everything mentioned was tested on a custom pc with two different headphones (Philips SHQ3000 & SHS3200) on the tower jack and motherboard jack. The sound quality from the pc, using headphones, is comparable, with little to no difference, to my laptop. Also tried on a Droid Razr with the same result.
