4 out of 5 eggsRCW-H9020 3-way splitter

Pros: Work as it says it should. Experienced no visual loss in signal.

Cons: Small - hard to screw on connectors when splitter is mounted to the wall.

Other Thoughts: Looks cheaply made but works.

5 out of 5 eggsIt is what it says it is

Pros: Works to split coaxial cable into three.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Remember to terminate the extra connectors if they're not all being used to preserve signal strength. I got two as it was only a bit more to get the second one due to quantity discounts.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Splits!

Pros: worked fine for me until I no longer needed it - worth it for $!

Cons: only needed a two way splitter, but the price & reviews sold me on this model

Other Thoughts: my new apartment had a female coaxial jack right on the wall upon move-in, so we were free to set up our TV/Broadband network on our own, so I used this & a bunch of short coax cables I had lying around until the cable company forced some guy to come out & he replaced everything - don't notice any difference between the setups

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Newegg shipping fast as always

Cons: I Held onto this splitter for over a month before I was able to install it in my outside box. I am assuming the dB loss is very high because my cable box immediately stopped working. I could get analog signal but the picture was very grainy. Dug around in my electronics stash to find on old 3-way splitter. Tried it in place of the new Rosewill one and the cable box now works as well as the other jacks giving a clear picture.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, it is past the 30 days for returns so I am out 10 bucks. Should have spend the money for a better quality splitter.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Works, I can't notice any single degradation. I use an antenna for HDTV and split it between my Media Center PC and Flat Screen, so I can watch TV without the PC or through the PC.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Cable tv is a thing of the past.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine no signal degradation noted

Pros: I was concerned about signal degradation, but product works fine. I am splitting a cable signal to my Tivo, HDTV, and cable modem with no problems.

Cons: Did not come with gold screws as pictured; however I didn't need them so I don't care.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks fine, nothing special

Pros: Works better than the splitter it replaced

Cons: Only usable for antenna / cable, not satellite (1GHz versus 2.4Ghz)
The dB losses aren't labeled

Other Thoughts: By nature, the 3 way splitters cause 3.5/7/7 db loss on their various taps, it would be nice if this splitter had labeling so that you could figure out easily which tap had the stronger signal.

This is a fine cheap splitter, but would be nice if it was 2.4Ghz instead of only 1Ghz. I have not tried to use it with a cable modem as my cable modem is on its own private line.
