Pros: Solid construction, pretty simple to install, holds the laptop steady, doesn't bounce excessively

Cons: The laptop is secured to the platform via straps. This isn't a criticism of its reliability (I know they are plenty strong), but rather, that the front strap is far less effective than a pair of clips would have been. It *is* secure, but the front strap gets in the way of certain keys unless carefully positioned.

Other Thoughts: The entire unit is heavy-duty, very well made. The joints are strong, and so long as the base is firmly attached to the seat post or alternative mounting point provided, it's really reliable. Having one other point of contact to something solid makes the whole thing not move at all (except when offroading, when of course things shift a bit). I'm quite pleased with everything except the minor strap issue. Still a good 5-star rating for excellent durability, strength, effectiveness and maneuverability.

Pros: Absolutely fantastic automotive laptop mount, comes with all the different types of hardware adapters you might need to mount in your vehicle. Very sturdy, and articulates in any direction you might need! Love it! Excellent for Wardriving, or just mobile computing.

Cons: none...

Pros: Great camera. My wife loves it even with the stock lens, she's very happy.

Cons: Art features bit lag after firmware upgrade. Will play with it some more and hope it fixes the lag issue.

Other Thoughts: If u going to upgrade ur firmware, make sure it's something u sure about, not sure if u be able to reverse it afterward.

Pros: Works well at holding my laptop and fits the vehicle great. The price is great, but compared to other commmercial laptop mounts made by other companies, this can't compare, you get what you pay for.

Cons: Not stable. Too much instability. As much as it wobbles I don't think it will last to long.

Other Thoughts: I'd look elsewhere and pick a mount thats stable.

Pros: Great Holder if not constantly installed/uninstalled. Makes for a nice med. sized clipboard/writing surface when not being used for laptop.

Cons: I do agree, and can see if you are to constantly be clamping/unclamping it in and out of a vehicle then after awhile it may break the clamp. For my use though its worked flawless for over a year now.

Other Thoughts: Lets face it, when I first got my laptop I looked around and even found the website that does these type of products for Law Enforcement, and unless you want to spend 3 times the money for their cheapest model then adapt. I have had this mounted in my van and have had to stablize it using a squeez clamp to the console so it wouldn't shake around. If you look at the ones used in Law Enforcement you'll see even these had to be modified with braces to stop them from shaking and those are never removed from the vehicle either. For me this was well worth the money and I paid more back then, it was 30 bucks more than it is now.

Pros: Nice looking, low price, easy mounting.

Cons: Lots of vibration, even on the highway. Can't keep the platform tightened and I use a light weight Toshiba. Mounting system has fatal flaw.

Other Thoughts: I didn't save any money by buying this device. I found myself wrapping straps from the mount to different locations in the cab to lessen the vibrations. But even that I could live with. The fatal flaw in the system is the cast aluminum collar used to clamp the base to the mounting pin. For it to clamp down tightly, the brittle aluminum collar has to bend!!! Cast aluminum does not bend many times before it breaks. Go to the Rosewill site before you buy and see if you can buy a replacement. I couldn't and the whole thing is going to end up in the trash bin. Spend a little more and get something that actually works and will last more than a few mountings.

Pros: This thing rocks. I can use my laptop with microsoft streets and trips. Plug my laptop into my cd player. So much fun.

Cons: If you drive on a bumpy road for 3 hours the thumb screw on the bottom of where your laptop sits will come loose.

Other Thoughts: It's a little hard to get pasitioned just right.

Pros: Easy to install, a no brainer. Lots of adjustments. Made real well, quality parts. Better than most Camera Tri-Pods I've used or seen. Really a great product. From start to finish, I had this thing in and adjusted in about 15 minutes. Bravo Zulu Rosewill, and Newegg too.

Cons: None, couldn't be happier.

Other Thoughts: I own a 2008 Ford E250 Van. This thing fits perfectly. Once I loose the Driver seat bolt, took a prybar lifted the seat bracket alittle, slipped the holder bracket in, tighten seat bolt back down, wella done! Drop stand on. does wiggle alittle but to fix that, I had a small craftsman thrigger clamp and placed it in the middle compartment opening of the console and on the stand, tightened it up against the console. Its solid and goes nowhere. Lovin' it!

Pros: This product has made work a lot easier as i now have easy access to my laptop in the car!

Cons: This item is in a weird category so you may not find it unless you know what your looking for!

Other Thoughts: Do not drive and try to use your laptop at the same time!

Pros: very well built stand for the price. comes with a bunch of different adapters for your seat bolt. if you put it together right and tighten all possible spots then this doesn't shake all that hard. cant wait to try this out using google earth with my broadband card.

Cons: while i was putting it in i hated this product. it took well over an hour to place in my car and angle it. there r so many knobs on this thing is crazy. but once i learned which knobs do this and better understanding of how to angle it i started to love this product again. the velco straps on it are pretty much worthless to me, they either have to go on the mouse pad or keyboard. (not rosewill's fault).

Other Thoughts: your going to hate this product while you install it and adjust it, then your going to love it. also be prepared to move it multi times trying to find the perfect place for the tray to sit in your vehicle. wish the tray was a couple of inches wider and in length. make sure to have it all tighted or else its going to like to jump around the place.
