Other Thoughts: I’ve purchased plenty of Rosewill products over the years with zero problems… until I purchased this 15 ft SVGA cable.

I methodically tested this 15 ft cable on (3) different HDTVs … one Sceptre, one Panasonic and one Samsung and even tried the cable with (2) different laptops: one HP/Compaq and one Toshiba.

Each time I tested I got the same result: either a black TV screen or in some cases a “not supported” error message on the TV.

After each failure I substituted the Roseville cable with a 6-ft D-Sub cable and every laptop worked with every TV.

Then I did what I should have done in the first place, I got out my multimeter to check the Roseville SVGA pins.

Result: Pin 15 is dead dead dead… no continuity whatsoever, zero resistance reading. And of course these are moulded connectors with no way to open them up and see which end, or both, has the broken wire. If I could, I would solder it and be on my way.

So how does a cable like this ever get through the manufacturer’s testing before being packaged and sold?

Unfortunately for me, I purchased the cable in late December to use at a condo we use a few times a year and needed the 15ft length to get from the TV to a coffee table and my laptop. I didn’t discover it was defective until the middle of April, so since it can't be repaired, in the trash it goes.

Unfortunately for Rosewill, I always remember the experience of my last purchase of any vendor’s product. I doubt I’ll be buying anything from them anytime soon.

Pros: Worked out of the box for my needs which was 1080p 3D output to my Acer H5360 3D Projector from one of my GT 440's.

Cons: Really thick so it's kinda hard to flex but it's not a big problem.

Pros: Good quality signal.

Cons: Does not carry EDID data, which means the video card cannot automatically detect the monitor type. Unusable in my environment, with 4 computers connected to a KVM, which requires that the cable carry the EDID data.

Other Thoughts: I had high hopes. A similar cable purchased from a competitor did not have these problems.

Pros: Dude, it's vga! I use it as an extra input for an old machine I use for simplicities to connect to my 32" TV. My gaming machine is connected via HDMI.

Cons: Can't complain

Pros: Works good. good quality. Nice thick cable. The audio jacks come out right behind the VGA head and are about a foot long. and are also a A nice thick size with good quality sound. AWESOME customer assistance see other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: 1st cable came with a bent pin. New egg promptly sent me a new cable and since shipping was the same price as the product they gave me the new one free of charge! Thank you New Egg!!!!!!!!

Pros: Good quality cable. 15 ft length and VGA and audio cable together.

Cons: On my laptop, the audio cable just barely reaches from the back of the laptop where the VGA port is, to the audio-out port on the front. A few extra inches would be helpful. Not able to use the cable currently as a result.

Pros: Good price and 15 ft length. Seems like a good quality cable.

Cons: Primary purpose was to connect the laptop to TV. But can't as the Audio cable is short for my laptop. Disappointed to find this out. I will need a 3.5 mm extension cable to use this cable now which is more money and more cables.

Pros: Plenty long at 15 feet. Handled full HD from a laptop to a TV. The audio cables are a very convenient addition. I often keep this cable in my laptop case so I can plug in to an HD TV. Build of cable is substantial, no problems.

Other Thoughts: Very convenient to have a VGA cable of this length. For example, will easily reach across the room from my laptop to a TV.

Other Thoughts: i bought this for a lenovo idea center and mounted it to the back of my mothers tv, i should have gotten a shorter cord

Pros: Cable seems to be well-made. The built-in audio cable is a great feature that seems to work fine, too. Having a 15-foot VGA cable is a good thing to have around.

Cons: There's about 18" of audio cable to work with at each end. That's fine for my TV connection, where the VGA and audio ports are right next to each other. But on my laptop, not so good -- the VGA port is in back and the audio port is in front. The 18" just barely makes it, and only because I strung it from the rear to the front across the keyboard! So the audio cable ought to be made a few inches longer, to allow just about any laptop to use it.

Other Thoughts: Haven't tried this at 1920x1080 resolution.
