5 out of 5 eggsperfect

Pros: very easy to install but need to be 2 because of the weight and the size

very tought and safe for any tv that fit on the recomended size and the dual arm is so strong that even a 65 inch led tv doesn't even make the arm flex a bit a maximum extension

Cons: no specified place to set the niveler included in the kit

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well but like me take some advice...

Pros: ...from Bruce E.s review. I completely disassembled the mount, used some emery cloth and a little lithium lube, put it back together and our new 55" moves smooth as butter? Silk? Moves nice.

Cons: The nickel they saved by printing the instructions so small strained my old eyes.
A PDF and a good tablet are much easier to use than a magnifying glass. I wish Rosewill and all manufacturers would provide a link to download a PDF of the manual for ALL products.

Other Thoughts: 1st time I ever mounted a flat screen; the solidness of this mount made me comfortable that I could do it and that my TV would be safe and secure.

4 out of 5 eggsNice mount

Pros: Great Value
Well built
Handles large TVs
Many adjustments

Cons: Stiff arms
Heavy (Need 2 people to mount it)
Mounting could be easier.

Other Thoughts: I hung a Samsung 60 inch LED/LCD TV on it.

Final product is great, but the mount is very stiff, even when you try to adjust the joint bolts.

Mounting would have been easier with a paper template. Grant I could have made my own.

Despite the issues it is a hard to find a mount with this models capabilities at this price point. I'm happy with the purchase even with the issues.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Solid Mount

Pros: These pictures are very deceiving. This wall mount comes out so far that my 65" in plasma (weighs around 120 lbs, which this mount supports with no problems at all) can come out from the wall far enough to put the TV at a 90 degree angle. Construction is very sturdy and it was pretty easy to mount.

Cons: Some people might need two people to mount because it is fairly heavy ( I did it myself because I was impatient and wanted to get it up right away =D)

Other Thoughts: Make sure your studs are 16" apart where ever you plan to mount the TV. Studs in interior walls on some houses are 24" and this can cause some complications if you are not expecting it. I had to mount two 2x4's onto my studs which are 24" apart and then secure the mount to the 2x4's. Its a solid build and my tv is large enough that you can not see the 2x4's so it worked out pretty well. Just make sure you measure your studs before hand. I would not recommend using the drywall molly screws just because the mount itself is so heavy, let alone the added weight of your TV.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Mount

Pros: Overall this is a great set. Having read a lot of the previous reviews I was still willing to give this a shot. Well built and solid feel. Once installed the wall mount instills confidence that it is not moving. I used the stud mount method but instructions and accessories provided allow concrete as well. The mount aside from the bracket for the TV is 100% pre-assembled.
I did not choose to disassemble the mount as some others have stated. The bolts and allens are tight from the factory but in my case were easily remedied with WD-40. The set moves with ease but I can definitely agree with what others have posted on the initial strength needed to move the pivot joints.
A two person mount is recommended. Lag bolts used for installation in studs are M8x63. They are big sturdy and require a ¼” pilot hole. Studs must be placed no closer than 16” from one another and no further than 18” due to the bracket and hole locations themselves.
A good center locating stud finder is recommended due to the size of the lag bolts and the amount of meat they need to pull into. As I stated before once bolted down it is sturdy.
I have a 47” LG LED mounted on this. The mounts for the TV also bolt on with no problems and Rosewill was nice enough to throw in some generics. I used the screws provided with my TV. The mounts for the TV have a hook shape and slide over two parallel bars secured on the main mount. The parallels are all pre-installed. Once in place two metal slides come forward and have a plastic keyway placed through them making the mount and tv more or less one piece.

Cons: May require lube to easily pivot. WD-40 worked in my case. Lag Bolts are M8x63 sturdy but big.

Other Thoughts: The straightforward instructions, preassembled, sturdy nature, and aesthetic appeal make this a recommended purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsTV Mount

Pros: I received the mount very quickly. The packaging was fine and all arrived in perfect shape. I inspected the mount for problems listed in other reviews and found none of the problems. All of the hardware is very high quality and after taking it apart and greesing it, the movement is smooth. The mounting hardware is complete and the bolts included fit the Samsung 55" TV. Due to the weight of the mount I agree that two people should be used to install the mount. I measured and marked the studs , pre drilled the holes and after installing the first bolt we levelled and finished the installation in about a half hour. Very impressed with this mount.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The mount came with the hardware to install the mount to the wall and to the TV. Plus extra items for mounting to any TV . Including bolts spacers washers and drywall inserts (not recommended). Its my opinion that a installation just into drywall would not hold this mount or a large TV.

2 out of 5 eggsSo hard to move

Pros: As others have said, very sturdy.

Cons: "Cable management" loops are useless. They wouldn't hold a simple HDMI cable without buckling under the stress when the cable moved around. The loops just fell off. I will use zip ties instead.

The articulating feature would be nice, but it is extremely difficult to move the mount around. There are several places where you can adjust the tension of the joints by using an allen wrench. Well, on my unit some of these joints are so overtightened from the factory that I cannot untighten them without stripping the hole for the allen wrench. They are physically impossible to get loose.

Since these bolts are so overtightened, the mount creaks and moans when I move it back and forth, and it is so stiff that my wife cannot even budge it. I can do it but it's a pain. It will come out from the wall and swivel, but it's way more difficult than it should be, and the adjustment points simply will not get any looser.

I tried using spray lubricant similar to WD-40, and it helped only a little bit.

My other issue is that it doesn't hold a position very well. The TV likes to rotate clockwise/counterclockwise when I'm struggling to pull it out from the wall or push it back in. It also likes to keep tilting more and more forward over time, which is annoying, I have to get a friend to help tilt it back to vertical.

Other Thoughts: I have an older 42" plasma TV that weighs about 70 lbs mounted to this.

Wish I had bought a higher-end mount. This one is sturdy enough but typical Rosewill not following through on the details. I have said once before, I am finished buying Rosewill products after too many problems... this time I am serious.

4 out of 5 eggsGood mount, quality control issue....

Pros: This is a SOLID mount. I have no concerns about putting the maximum allowable weight on it. It is very, very well built and the angles that you can adjust to are great.

Cons: The quality control issue with this mount is that it is not properly lubricated at the factory. For those who have found this mount stiff and difficult to move, do the following: all of the pivot points have bolts. Remove them (carefully so you don't have to crawl around trying to find the nuts and washers) - 4 at wall plate, 2 in middle, and 2 at the front by the TV attachment. Take them out 1 at a time and lubricate them with lithium grease (not the spray). Reinsert the removed bolt and tighten it prior to moving onto the next bolt. Do not overtighten them! After lubrication, you will find that the mount moves with complete ease, as it should out of the factory. There was little to no lubrication on the 2 that I purchased. That is not a design issue, but rather a quality control issue.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunate that Rosewill would allow a simple thing to be overlooked. Simple quality control steps would eliminate a number of negative reviews and the loss of potential customers that resulted.
