2 out of 5 eggsWas hoping for better

Pros: Sleek design
Comes with powered amplifier

Cons: Consistently only picks up 2 of over 10 channels available over the air.

Other Thoughts: Even though I have the unit in a window that points towards 90% of the TV transmission towers in my area the unit can only be relied on to pick up 20% of the signals. I am very disappointed in this unit. I would have returned but because of the initial low cost, shipping the product back would have been almost more than what I paid for it.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive, nice/sleek design.

Cons: Constant loss of signal, flickering reception.

Other Thoughts: The antenna worked great for me the first few weeks, but it just seemed to slowly loose it's "oomph" and channels would randomly flicker in and out of reception. I find myself having to sit near the antenna when I'm watching tv so that I can readjust it, which results in viewable programming with random stalling and flickering.

I have 2 of these, and the other is plugged into the tv in my bedroom, but not into an outlet and it seems to be working better than the one that's actually in the outlet in the living room.

It's a good antenna for the price - definitely going to keep the one in my bedroom and probably find another more reliable one for the living room.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Works great, looks great, gets the stations I never knew were available. Invisible in operation......Can't ask for more.

Cons: The power transformer outlet cable developed an open or short.

Newegg to the rescue....another coming!

Other Thoughts: Get it.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless antenna

Pros: Looks very attractive, thus the one star. Performance-wise it is zero.

Cons: It is almost completely worthless. Anything else will perform better. Even if you stick a bare cable in the antenna IN, will get at least the same signal.

Other Thoughts: I would say not worth more than $1, just to give it a try. I have tried it at several TV units, latest high-end SONY with good tuner - this antenna doesn't receive well. Look for something better. It is equal to a bare rabbit ears.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks GREAT for me

Pros: I know that people have mixed results with these things, but this one works GREAT for me.

Without it, I can only get 4 DTV stations, and three of those are Spanish stations. Hola, españoles!

With it, I get over 20 stations, including all of the major broadcast stations. The picture quality is amazing. I'm seriously considering canceling cable TV.

Cons: The way the power cord connects is a little weird.

Other Thoughts: It looks really cool.

3 out of 5 eggsWasn't what I hoped, but was what I expected

Pros: Nicer looking than rabit-ears or loops.
Does help with signal strength.

Cons: Doesn't help as much as I hoped.

Other Thoughts: I can't really blame the antenna as I am fairly far away from my sources. I did see a minor increase in signal strength, though it is hard to quantify.
I'm not sure it provides significant benefit over my existing, cheaper, non-powered unit.
If I don't have anything right now, this isn't a bad choice. If you do have something and want to "trade up", don't have unrealistic expectations.

1 out of 5 eggsWorse than the bundled unpowered Antenna

Pros: It looks nice

Cons: Doesn't work well at all; after much adjustment, it managed to pull 7 WEAK signals; whereas the bundled antenna, which was basically a 3 inch piece of wire, pulled in over 35. This is in the NYC area.

Other Thoughts: There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON why a amplified antenna will do WORSE than a cheap piece of wire.
