The Rosewill RSL-100 Solar Garden Lights offer super bright white LED to any garden or backyard using the power of the sun. Equipped with a rechargeable battery, it can last 8 hours after a full charge during the day. The Rosewill RSL-100 Solar Garden Lights are maintenance free and easily to install, no electrician and wiring needed. This is a 6 light value pack.

Some homeowners enjoy gardening during the spring and summer. It can be a fun activity, and if your yard is well-maintained, hosting barbecues and parties is a nice change from being stuck inside while socializing.

Unfortunately, the sun never stays out long enough, and it's not much of a celebration if your guests can't see each other. It can be expensive to install lamps and rewiring your deck or porch, but solar garden lights are cost-effective alternatives that shine just as bright.

Battery-powered lanterns can be hassles as well, as you'll need to buy new power sources every few weeks. Torches and candles can be dangerous, especially outside as a strong breeze can quickly lead to small fires. However, solar garden lights store energy every day and won't harm anything. Your plants will be safe, as the lights have stakes that anchor the devices to the ground.

Unlike other options, solar garden lights are simple to install. Lamps and lanterns usually have wires and cables tangle and can be damaged if left exposed. With a garden light, users simply have to find a soft spot in the ground and firmly push the stake into the dirt.

These yard decorations are weatherproof, so you don't have to buy a new set after every storm. Even on overcast days the small solar panels store energy, meaning that your garden won't be dark even if the sun's been hidden all day.

Having lights in your garden can also protect your property from nocturnal visitors. Animals like skunks and raccoons shy away from well-lit areas, so you don't have to worry about any pests eating your plants. You don't have to remember to turn the lights on and off, as they activate and deactivate automatically.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Assemble. turn on switch, stick into ground. Comes on at dusk, goes off at dawn, simple. Good to have, keeps walking areas well illuminated. Wish I'd bought 3 sets.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsMy third set ... Excellent for me

Pros: Super price, easy to install, charge lasts all night, great border lighting, mine have lasted two complete years and are still going strong.

Cons: If you have several days, not a single day, of no sunlight, they will not charge. This has happened only two times in two years in my latitude.

Other Thoughts: This is the third set I've bought. I use a set on my front walkway and one on my back walkway. After two years of use, I've broken a couple by hitting them with my mower or weed eater. They are really nice and last all night long on one sun charge. It sure beats more expensive ones. You just push them in the ground and the sun recharges them. We live in an area that gets moderate and cloudy-sun in the winter, but they still work all night. I hope this product will continue to be available in the coming years.

4 out of 5 eggsAll Night Light!

Pros: Long Lasting garden LED lighting for your walkway/driveway, etc...
I have my lights on the east side of my house where they get morning to early afternoon sun - then they are shaded by the house for the rest of the day. They come on at dusk and will still be brightly lit up at 5:am the next day!!
They are cheap plastic but these LED walkway type lights are MUCH better than anything I've ever used - other than direct wire low voltage lighting.
The cheap price is money well spent!!

Cons: Cheap plastic...easy to break when removing them from hardened dirt. I've had mine break once or twice - used SuperGlue and they were back in business.

Oh, don't get a weedwacker ANYWHERE near these things...the cheap plastic will not hold up - even though the light does!! That's the reason I'm on my second order of these lights!

3 out of 5 eggsWorked well for 4 months in FL, with severe rainstorms

Pros: all but one are still working after a few weeks of intermittent rain. The light really does stay on close to 8 hours during the dark, better than the smaller, cheaper solar lights you'll find at the dollar store.

Cons: Unfortunately, one has stopped working completely and it appears that the light and the battery housing have RUST likely related to water intrusion. Guess these aren't as weather proof as stated

Other Thoughts: I have submitted an RMA request to Rosewill. Was hoping to get more than 4 months out of all of them, We shall see how this process goes

5 out of 5 eggsNice and Bright

Pros: Purchased 5 boxes (30 of them) and took me less than 1 hour from open all boxes, installed and put all them in my driveway. Now I have the brightest solar lights for the entire block.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Be very careful with plastic anchor and don't force it. It will break. Spent over $300 for the expensive ones but only last no more than 3 years. For this price, you can't beat.

4 out of 5 eggsso far so good

Pros: Works, bright. Minimal set up.
Great set of good looking lights for the yard. Minimal technical knowledge requried.

Cons: Made of plastics. Probably will not last more than one or two seasons. But for the price, that is probably fine, except for the environmental cost of throwing it away after one to two years.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Light

Pros: Cheap and reliable.

Cons: Lights stay on till around midnight in winter.
The plastic anchor broke apart after 1 year.

Other Thoughts: Is it possible to just buy the anchor, ie the pointy thing you plant in the ground? I now have 2 lights disabled not due to the light but the anchor.

4 out of 5 eggsTriple A batteries - Easy in out battery cage - Bright - relatively small solar panel-

Pros: Bright LED, Charge time is ok, easy in\out battery; I take the batteries out after a month and recharge them using my charger. I place them in an area that gets roughly 3-5 hours sunlight, way below what this panel calls for so I recharge. Easy access to the battery allows me to do that. It helps a ton cause it extends the use of the light by years if not months.

Cons: Fixing the cons involves a price increase or a tech boom so I really cant complain due to the cost. The panel is somewhat small and the set would do better with slighlty larger pannels but overall I understand they need to be kept in an area that has constant sun light. My area does not not, slightly larger panels would help me.

I like everything about it. If the panel was larger or gave more power output I would have given it the 5th star...

Other Thoughts: I am planning on wiring them up so the ones that lay in the shade would get charged by those that are in the sun. I like Rosewill They are a decent company. Why not spend some cents and get them wired together with 3.5'-4.5' width of wire in between. I wouldn’t mind paying extra for it. It would increase my battery life as well as give a more equal charge and illumination...

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding yard lights!

Pros: This was my third set of these lights to purchase. They are very bright, and if there is a good sunny day to charge them, they'll last all night until morning! No kidding.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: For the price, you just can't beat these lights. Get them when they're on sale and you've got a great deal.

5 out of 5 eggsMore uses than just in the bushes..

Pros: These fit nicely without the spike into most regular candle holders to use outdoors on tables or for renewable alternative black out lighting indoors. Safer around kids and better than candles.

Cons: none
