5 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: I needed this to charge my !8V milwaukee batterys while i'm on the road, This so far is doing a good job.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: I use a milwaukee hammer drill and an impact, to install Verizon home fusion, and sometime Direct tv. if i run into brick homes i go through the batteries, and this so far is doing a good job.

5 out of 5 eggsUniversal laptop car charger

Pros: Saw it on the email deal list for $12, so I got it. It is smaller than I expected, which is good. It is about the size of a laptop power brick, maybe a few cm fatter. As long as it can charge a laptop on a car trip I'll be happy.

Cons: None so far. It was not DOA.

Other Thoughts: If you have multiple laptops or tablets, instead of getting a different car charger for each device, get this. In fact, at this discounted price it is half the price of one laptop car charger.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Works well and can run a 17" laptop and charge my phone with no issues.
On-Off switch.
Auto Fan

Cons: manufacturers knowledge was not great on this product.
I wanted to know if it was defective because the fan was not turning on. Turns out it takes some time before it heats up (a good thing) and turns itself on. I was told it should be running always and almost returned it for no reason.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: Price is ok, Unit functions fine. Fuse is on box, not in the plug.

Cons: Under Powered, You get what you pay for! when you read 200 watts don't get excited, It can hardly handle 150,, Don't think you are going to be able to plug your laptop into it and have it work, it won't. The only thing I have found I can do with this is charge my cell phone :( ,, wast of money.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after using it twice.

Pros: Got it cheap during sale at Newegg!

Cons: Died after about 10 hours of intermittent use.

Other Thoughts: Used it to charge a laptop during 10 hour trip. The max draw for the laptop power adopter is 90W . The unit did charge the laptop, but...

1) inverter kept beeping.
2) It got hot.
3) The fan was quite noisy

Used it again during return trip, making sure that the unit was positioned in a well ventilated area. It failed to charge :-(

Checked with multi meter later. No output power! Changed the fuse... still no power. Not worth returning for warranty.

Conclusion: No more Rosewell for me. BIG quality issue. You get what you paid for!

2 out of 5 eggsNot the best.

Pros: It does provide some charge. It slowed down how quickly my phone died.

Cons: This inverter is very weak, overheats to the point of making me uncomfortable, and is cheaply made.

Other Thoughts: I would invest in a higher quality product. Ours is sitting in a closet collecting dust.

Cons: A little noisy but it ain't that kind of deal. Really most of these are noisy.

Other Thoughts: Priced fair, but when on sale I buy me some!

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it

Pros: Small. Built in fan.

Cons: It claims 200W continuous and 400W peak. There's no way. I plugged in a power supply that draws 100W max and this unit kept faulting and resetting.
At best, it may be able to provide enough power for a phone or tablet. In which case you're better off with a small car USB power adapter.

Other Thoughts: I plugged it into a 13.8 volt 3 Amp power supply to take a car's cigarette lighter's socket current capacity out of the equation. Once again I thought "Why not?" since it was so inexpensive but, as with other products made by Rosewill, it's just cheap junk.
